This is definitely a resource book, probably will come in handy in the future. Very health related and not a lot of behavioral information. Although there is a little on herd management.

Everything I needed to know!

Pretty heavy duty and oriented towards a veterinary audience but a good reference for those looking to understand the intricacies of camelids and the various diseases that can affect them. Lots of pictures...

Great book, definitely Vet medicine focused.

I am a vet and an owner of llamas and guanacoes and this book was recommended by members of the British Camelid Veterinary Society. It is packed with very useful information for keeping my animals healthy. I am delighted with it.

This is brilliant if you are a serious keeper, carer and breeder of alpacas. All the sensible stuff you need to know and all the detail you can't find anywhere else. Not for dummies and not for those wanting cute pictures but if you want a successful healthy and happy flock then its right for you.

This book was recommended by a camelid specialist vet and it really does live up to expectations. It is a mine of information.

A well written and informative book

Well illustrated, and easier to read than most veterinary texts on camelids. Its nice to have a more up-to-date comprehensive volume in our library, as most of our camelid veterinary-focused books were written over 20 years ago.
