It helps taking the snaps up. But still need a little rubber hammer for tacking them down

Really useful for removing old salt water seized snaps, but spray some suitable lubrication on the snap first to prevent damage. Can be useful for fastening snaps on tight fabric, as it applies force to a wider area than your fingers would. However for really tight covers, designed to force a watertight seal beneath the fabric, this tool is only partially useful. Direct hand force it still required in some cases.

Love it! Makes taking my boat cover off so much easier. I'm not afraid of ripping a snap off now.
