Comfort GlowEQS5140 Sanibel 3-Sided Infrared Quartz Electric Stove Black Finish

This is the second stove we've owned. These are so wonderfully warm, nice to look at and relatively effective heating our large kitchen. They actually resemble a log-burning stove!

This looks good! The legs were a bit flimsy, would feel better if they were metal instead of plastic. They weren’t difficult to screw on. It gives off heat, there’s on switches for the heat inside the door, and for the flame lights and glow on the “logs”, and a dial for the level of heat desired. I’m pleased with my purchase. I read reviews where it didn’t last so not giving all the stars at this point since just received it. There’s a 1 year warranty, if it lasts with regular use I’ll be fine with that. The side clear views are really a great feature. Top is plastic and doesn’t get hot, but I’m leery of putting weight on it. The carpet does get a bit warm underneath, so I don’t leave it on too long or while sleeping or not in the room, just to be extra cautious. The price was good, looks really better than expected, cannot report on durability or longevity since just got it. Satisfied so far. The warning in California proposition for toxicity is somewhat concerning but so many things have that.*EDIT: Electricity costs increased, doubled! from $50-$60, to $100-$120. Just electricity part of utility bill.Not counting regular gas heating, gas dryer, gas water heater costs.

The product itself is fine, but when it arrived, it was dented in the back of the vent part. Also when I stood it up after installing the legs, one leg just snapped off. I have a real wood stove that actually heats the whole house, so I liked the "stove" look for a 3 season room where we need some extra heat.I exchanged it for another one, which arrived intact and it works fine. It does not throw out as much heat as I'd like, but it is fun to look it, is quiet and gives an ambiance.It is hard to tell from any of these heater descriptions or reviews how well it will heat any given space, but I have another heater with the same power, which seems to heat the same room faster.

It’s great! We love it. Got it for our loft and it adds warmth and ambiance. Has a thermostat so it shuts off when it reaches the temperature on the dial. Looks good. Only thing is it’s a little bit noisy. It makes a bit of a humming noise, but not offensive at all. Just good to know if you are expecting little to no noise. All the heat comes out and forward from the bottom. Otherwise unit is cool to the touch so you can place something on top. It’s awesome! 👍🏻👍🏻🔥

We loved this little heater with fake flames but we bought it Dec 13, 2020 & the flames part stopped working in early June 2021. We don't know if it's safe to use the heater part now that the flames died. only had a one month return policy. cute, small, cozy, pretty flames. I guess it did its job over the winter. I think it made too much noise when on but I've never owned one before so maybe noise is normal?

Darling stove. Bought for my dad's room at assisted living to give a morsel of atmosphere and it's GREAT. Both light bulbs went out after three weeks. Went to Home Depot for bulbs and there was the EXACT same stove (different label) for only $99. Bought this size and a larger one that was $170 for the guest bedrooms at my house. I see no reason for this stove to be $70 more than the exact same stove at Home Depot. I love them all though....very charming.

When we first got it, a bunch of our friends asked about it - it's just got a really cute glow to it! Heats a medium size room nicely too (we have it near our TV in the TV room).Feels well built and safe. That's my primary concern, and the device has never felt like it would overheat/cause a fire.

I would return it but I can make use of it at the parents vacation place where it will rarely (a couple times a year) get used. I will look elsewhere for what I wanted this one for.Pros: (this is a struggle)-Looks okay.-Gives okay heatCons:-Mostly plastic-Thermostat control is more of a timer. It doesnt matter what the temp in the house is.-In order to have thermostat active, the fire (light) must be on constantly, so the heat rarely comes on but your buring electricity constantly-rattles and buzzes even when just the light is on. In fact it is very annoying when just the light is on (which is most of the time) When the heat kicks in the fan drowns out the other noises-screws in back fall out as they are just screwed into plastic - the plastic is stripped from overtightening so nothing to screw into anymore

It's very cute but very noisy. I am seriously thinking of sending it back!
