Shelly Beans were a staple back in th 60's when I was growing up.Mom would serve them for Supper from time to time.My brother and I were feeling nostalgic a while back and he asked if I could buy them around me in the Midwest.He lives in the North Pacific area. I said no but checked Amazon. I ordered some for him and myself.This is my second order. I put them in the Crocpot with Bacon or Ham a few baby potatoes.How delicious.

Bought 2 cases of these. 1 for myself and 1 for my mother in law. First shipment was fine Then reordered is each another case and these do not have the Shelley beans in them. Highly disappointed because these have become very hard to find in our area and paid a whole lot more to order through here and now I have a case of beans that aren’t quite as good .

I miss having Shellies. These really fit my yearning for my uncle’s Shellie Green Beans. I was afraid that the beans would be pinto beans as they are listed, but they seem much darker than pintos. They were more like what I remember. My uncle grew the Shellies separately.The case arrived promptly and undamaged.

Wish could find in store. Ordering is great option. But expensive for beans.

For some reason we can't buy these in my area anymore. Great value for the money. Arrived ahead of schedule.
