Not what I thought it was but a good book
This is a brief and broad overview of mapmaking and geography. I thought there would be more history about specific maps, maybe some stories to bring the subject to life. There are projects that you can do but they require purchasing all kinds of materials I don’t have. Was hoping for an inspiring read but this has more of the feel of a textbook.

Great book for kids
I purchase this is a gift for my nephew who has recently developed an interest in maps. I think the book is so great that I plan on purchasing another for my sons!

Book arrived bent
Excellent book, but in shipping, the books was folded nearly in half and arrived not in new condition.

Great Resource
I ordered this as a resource for a history class I am teaching. It has been very helpful. I have seen many of the "for kids" series and this is one of my favorites.

Three Stars
Had almost nothing about cave paintings as advertised, which is why I bought it. Book itself is alright.

Maptastic!
I love maps! And I found this book extremely satisfying, for people of all ages! What a fascinating way to look at the evolution of our world over time and how we represent it in cartographic images, highly recommended!
