A cookie that maintains the embossed pattern, even after the baking process is completed.
In order to use a rolling pin like this and be successful, one must use a cookie dough recipe that doesn't have any leavening.

Cheaply made, unusable to make clean impressions, lines in background, waste of money
I bought this to make impressions in clay for pottery. Horrible. About 1/3 has deep lines running across the background that completely ruin the pattern making it unusable. Cheaply made and a complete waste of money.
