The reviews are mixed here, but I can give you our experience with this product. Our 15 year old yorkie has arthritis and degenerative issues in his back. We purchased this at Petsmart for several years and they don’t sell it now. We were delighted to find it here. Oliver could hardly get around and had been under the care of a specialist taking several medications. We found this product and started giving to him daily while easing off the medication. He no longer takes that medication. This gloucosamine chronditin product in jerky is a special treat daily, which he readily takes. I like it is without grains and artificial preservatives. And most of all I like that it is MADE in the USA. I recommend highly based on our experience with our Oliver.

The product arrived quickly. I have 4 dogs,including 2 six month old Australian shepherd pups, one with possible hip issues. Our older two dogs, also Aussies, are healthy and active, but old. We have supplemented their diet and exercise program with these chews. I picked them up on a whim, but now order them exclusively. This is our 7th bag. I have noticed less limping and stiffness, after the first two weeks. I use them also, while training the pups, because they LOVE THE TASTE! I break them up into bits, and make sure they get only the recommended dose. I highly recommend this product.

One of our 3 dogs (10 years old) has had trouble with back and hips. I think these are helping. Either way, they all 3 love them. And 2 of them are real finicky eaters. Other one will eat anything. lol

These are my Scottie's favorite treat. I can get her to take pills, etc, offering this as a reward. From what I understand, almost all dogs love duck. If that's true, this is the treat for all dogs. They aren't too hard and aren't mushy either. Great treat!

Our Yorkie turned 12 yesterday. She has taken these treats since she was born. The Vet always says how she can not believe what good shape she is in. Still acts like a puppy. Yorkie are know for hip problems. Our Yorkie is still jumping around the house. The only thing we messed up on once was the amount. She is 5# so she gets half per day. When she was getting a whole her urine enzymes were elevated.

My dog has become a "treat-terrorist" with these Chicken Jerky treats! She likes them so much she harasses me by either barking until I give her one, or by coming up next to wherever I am sitting and "dig, dig, dig" until I give her one. I sincerely hope there is no problem with extra glucosamine because she gets WAY more than the recommended amount. But she's an old dog and I indulge her. At nearly 13-years old (mini-poodle) she is still VERY springy and playful, and has no problems jumping up on my rather high bed. They are expensive, but nothing is too good for my girl.

My old bird dog loves these treats and it keeps her healthy. She is 16 years old! Every morning she meets me at the back door looking for her treat. It's just fun. She doesn't move as much as she used to. Still, these treats seem to make it so that when she does move she is not hurting. It's the least a person can do for an old friend that has been such a help over the years. She could get me the birds. Now I feed them to her.
