Dreamy Dress-Up Yellow Butterfly Wings

I LOVE these wings. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I've bought three more as gifts for other kids (girls and boys!), that's how great they are. I can see these lasting for years, unlike the wire and nylon type wings which inevitably start to run or get damaged in some other way. The elastic is high quality and won't stretch out in the foreseeable future. They fit my 2.5 year old well with plenty of room to grow.I also really like that they fold up so small. We've shoved these in our diaper bag and taken them to concerts and various events and our daughter always has a great time showing them off and dancing around in them. When we first got these she basically didn't take them off for a week straight. Because they are cloth without wire she can even wear them in her highchair and on the changing table (meaning: less disagreements about taking them off)!My only qualm with these is that I wish the elastic loop at the end of the wing was big enough to fit around wrists instead of just a finger. I'm guessing they have some reason for doing the smaller loop but I can't see what that is. But that is a small issue and I'd buy these again and again (and probably will for more gifts).

These wings are really wonderful. I purchased them for my daughter's third birthday and I know she will enjoy them for years to come. I liked the green/yellow/red wings especially because they are reminiscent of the butterfly in Eric Carle's "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." I love the elastic at the shoulders and fingers which allows her to slip her fingers out when she's not "flying" and let the wings fall folded against her back. I especially wanted wings for her that had no frame and those are hard to find. The only thing I would change would be for there to be no glitter (why does everything for kids have glitter these days?); Fortunately, on these wings the glitter doesn't rub off. A wonderful gift I'd recommend for any child who pretends to be a butterfly!

Very happy with this purchase! This product is well made. The material is heavier and much higher quality than expected. The elastics for the arms and fingers are also thicker and higher quality than expected. They appear to be sewn on well. I do not expect loss of elasticity/stretching out any time soon, if at all. The finger loops are a little large - large enough for a couple fingers to go through. All elastics are black. The coloring and print/details are as expected. This product is advertised for 3+ years. My child is almost 4 and her armspan is not quite long enough for this product. But she still loves it. Great for imaginative play!

at $20 a pop, this item is overpriced for what you get- a piece of fabric with some elastic. This said, it is way more durable than the wire wings, and the bonus is, you don't have to take them off (and endure an argument with a toddler) to get in the stroller, the car, or do basically anything that you don't want -or can't have- a large wire frame attached to your back. If this were 5, 10 or even 15 bucks, it would get 5 stars for both parental and child love!

Cute wings but the loop fell off upon opening the package Christmas morning! :( The loops are where the child puts their finger into so that they may spread their wings.....So my daughter couldn't get the full effect initially! I didn't want to pay to ship them back so I just asked my mother to sew the loop back on for us....I guess that's the quality we've come to expect anymore in this day and age:( My 4 yr old daughter doesn't seem to really be as into these wings as I thought she would. However, they are cute, if they were made a little better!

These wings were fantastic. My three year old daughter loves twirling in them. They are well made and are a wearable work of art. I’m thinking of buying another pair in a different color.

Beautiful wings that my kids will be able to use for dress-up play, not just for their original purpose of a Halloween costume. I had originally bought the monarch wings, but realized they wouldn't come in time. I found these, and I like them even more. They look even prettier in person. They were the perfect size for my unusually tall 5-year-old.
