VW 1998 Through 2005 Passat Monster Mats with Oval Retention Mat Clips

Nice heavy mats that give the interior a clean look as well as protect the carpet. My original carpet mats were worn and looked very bad, so these are a great addition. They also hold a lot of dirt or liquid.

Very cool looking. Only problem is that the rear mats DO NOT have the holes for the retaining clips. Not sure why, the front one's do. So I just removed the clips from the rear floor. They seem to stay in place OK. Nice & heavy material.

Back seat mats are wrong. They needed oval clips and have none.

I bought these to replace the worn through mats that came with my '04 GLX. The design of these replacements is different than the original, but the fronts fit well enough. The rear mats, however,no longer have holes to anchor them. I kept the old rear mats, and threw out the new.

I got these for my wife's 2005 Passat and they fit great. They look good too. I considered giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because I think they are too expensive, but I guess that's subjective and may change by the time you read this review. I would buy them again, I guess that's the main thing.

The mats fitted exactly in my VW Passat wagon. The quality is good. The cost is OK. IWould recommend this product and this vendor.
