Not an exact fit but did work
The part were the spring seats was too large and didn't fit but it worked and got my compressor working perfect again!

Hitachi brand check valve
This was not the exact valve that was in the housing. The original valve had a much smaller top that would fit inside the coil of the return spring. However, this is the only rubber produced for the pre Jan 2005 E12. Seemed to work ok.
