Really Fascinating
Lots of interesting science of how we might terraform Mars, as well as social issues in creating a new society. A series I could read again and again.

Great series for the Sci-Fi fan!
The books are incredibly detailed with characters that you come to love and want to follow. The added plus is some of the editorial comments about socio-political and socio-economic principles, how our earth culture has embedded itself into everything we do, and how a fresh start somewhere else could provide human-kind with a chance to set in place a possibly better foundation of cooperation, love and compassion.

This series was on my genius 16-year-old nephew’s birthday wish list. I am not familiar with them, but I was the cool aunt and he was very happy!

Memorable and engaging
I purchased this series as a gift I read it many years ago and have always remembered it as books that showed me a world that might someday be possible in many ways. One of the best science fiction series.

Excellent! Can't wait to resume!
started reading this about 8 -10 years ago (I think). Left the 2nd and third books somewhere. For some reason didn't start again until now. They are great with excellent character development and a believable plot line. Have to start from book one again, but that's fine!
