There are no size 4 needles in this pack. If you look closely at the listing, the omission is there, but I didn't. I still think the set is worth it for the price. I don't find these points too dull in the slightest. I was dropping a ton of stitches on the Boye's I was using on this project and kept splitting the yarn. Neither of those things are happening now! And they are noticeably lighter than both my aluminum and bamboo ones in equivalent size. But the 5's and the 7's are quite small. They may technically be between whole sizes. I think all of the bigger needles are a bit small actually, but those are the most noticeable.I think the packaging is quite cute and handy, but the needles will fall out of the top if you tip it over. Also, be sure and clean the needles before you use them! They felt like the had a residue, so I wiped them with rubbing alcohol, and they left a ton of black marks on the paper towel. No big deal if you know what to expect. I think it's manufacturing oil or something. Cleans off easily.Great value and perfect for using with a knitting belt.

So these needles just arrived today - the packaging was totally ripped open (wonders if the mail was being checked)?So it is difficult to find really small and longer doube points for lace knitting - these from what I can see fit the bill perfectly. They are not really slippery, but I will make sure I clean them b4 using my white Orenburg handspun lace. They are only 4 needles to a size so I bought 2 packages. Worth the money! They are in metric sizes for which I cannot totally measure them right, but the larger do measure at a us 6,7, and 8. The smaller ones start below the zero gauge measurement and go to us 5. The rest of the 7 pair are all below size 5. I can say that I am really pleased with what I see and the feel. I will have to update later after I get a chance to use them.

Wanted long dpn needles to use with a knitting belt for making lace and socks, and since such needles are frustratingly hard to find in the U.S., I thought I would give these a try. There are sixteen needle sizes ranging from about a U.S. 00 to a U.S. 5. They are 14 inches long, and do work very well with the belt. The surface is smooth, but not super slick, which is fine with me (but some knitters want super slick surfaces), and the price was good. My biggest complaints are that the tips are not as tapered or sharp as I would like (a bit of a drawback for lace knitting but am hoping someone at Home Depot or Lowe's can suggest a way to modify them); and there are only four needles for each size (most sock patterns I use require five needles). I have ordered a second set.

These needles are LONG. SUPER LONG. If you're knitting a hat or a sock, these things are completely unwieldy. Also I'm not really sure how the labeling system is meant to work. Is it MM? It doesn't seem to line up with my other needles.The case is nice, and the added yarn needed and crochet hook were a nice bonus.

I like the length of the needles, but was confused on the sizes. Was hoping the numbers meant US sizes. I am sure I can adjust my pattern, but would have liked the size 16 to be US size 16. Otherwise, I am happy with the rest of the needles.

This is very good purchase! This is exactly what I needed. The knitting needles looks good and long, comfortable for large products. And the case is good enough. I love it ;)

The needles feel a bit flimsy, but they are smooth and get the job done. In addition to a much-appreciated case that keeps them organized, my set also came with a tapestry needle and a crochet needle that weren't even mentioned in the product description. The sizes are labeled in UK sizes (6-16), but you can easily find a conversion chart anywhere on the internet.

These sets of 4 double pointed needles are excellent quality, and nice and long and lightweight, too. There is a good range of sizes. Having just started to learn Brioche stitch, they are ideal, as I like to knit with the needles under my arm. They come in a substantial, well designed pouch, also of excellent quality

Never used these needle and returned them as they were not what I wanted, however they appeared to be of good quality.

Very much liked this product. The needles are smooth. The wool slides smoothly over them.
