One of the toroids that i ordered was broken. Other unit was fine, no cracks.

You can trust the mix of metal in this ferrite.
I was a bit scared to buy the cheaper ferrite core, anyone can paint something red. I used this in a 1/2 wave 20 meter vertical for the 49:1 transformer. First contact was DX !!
