Easy to install
Easy to install, cheap ; and are working ok ;I save more than 300 bucks real easy to install . The only thin is you have to bleed your brake system;since you have to disconnect the brake system lines on both sides .

Harsh ride after less than two years on my 2002 Corolla
Had these not quite two years now, and they seem to be shot on my 2002 Corolla. Noisy top plates...with questionable hardware. I the winter? It is almost as if the fluid is freezing up because the ride is uncomfortably stiff. Cheap for a reason, apparently. The MonroeMatics strut assemblies that I installed on the front of my 2002 Corolla at the same time are outperforming the FCS struts hands down, especially in the winter. They maintained their responsiveness and damping effect while the FCS struts seemed to have stiffened substantially. They have loosened up a bit again since we're getting into summer, but overall, it has been a disappointing experience.Feeling every bump in the rear end now. I didn't expect greatness at this price point, but I did expect at least a competent component. My expectations were not met.

Works, but alignment isn't great
The two studs on this strut were too far apart for my 01 Corolla, by about 1/16". I had to widen the hole in the car slightly so these would go in -- 1/32" for two holes in opposite directions. The holder for the brake line isn't at the same angle or position as the OEM strut, so you have to bend the break line a little to make it line up. Be aware that instead of 3 studs, there are 2 studs and 2 nuts. One of the nuts is not used. (The two nuts in the strut come pre-installed -- don't try to install the nuts in the bags directly on strut, those nuts are for the studs after installation.)Quickstruts are supposed to be easier. These worked, but the easier part is questionable. This is all too bad, because the front pair for my Corolla fit perfectly and were a joy to use.

This strut will work for a 2001 Corolla
I have a 2001 Corolla and it fit fine. The right side popped in just fine. I had lot's of trouble trying to get the the top studs of the strut to line up with the three holes up in the wheel well. I read a lot of reviews that said I would have problems lining up the two and I did. The alignment issue was totally my fault, you mate the two assemblies so the top of the strut is fairly parallel with the three holes chassis. do not come in at at a angle they will not mate. I tried one last time and boom it went right in with no problems.Everything fit fine no problems. I Gave this 4 stars because my OEM struts have 3 studs and these only have two. They provide a small bolt that replaces the third stud (this is because it fits other cars). So once you have the strut in place you will use two nuts on the two studs and the bolt will go into the remaining hole down into the top hat assemble of the strut.

Good
Quick easy and cheap. Why spend anymore on a 1200 dollar car? Would recommend to anyone looking to replace worn out OE struts.

very cheap struts
It just became 2 yrs this month that I installed these on my car. The boot on both struts are ripped. Very cheap struts. Waste of money.

Almost OEM excellent price, Econ ride height not OEM
Well let me first start out by saying, these are econ ride not OEM " Google it. Second I am a novice when it comes to car repair. I rely on YouTube and Google to fix my car. With that being said. "This was easy install with an impact gun" 2 Bolts at the bottom will not come off unless you buy or rent an impact gun... ABC rental supply rents them cheap and Harbor fright sells them for 60$ with 2 year warranty. Now as for the application this is almost complete go ahead and spend the 10 extra bucks ON here to get a new sway bar links too.... and this strut only has 2 studs instead of the OEM 3 at the top and on the 2001 prizm i was installing it on you will need a way to "push up the strut in there" as it is about 16th of an inch off holes. i just used an old pump jack.... i saved 700 dollars over Mr tire install. overall i am satisfied , message me if you have any questions. Knowledge is power!!
