Eemax SP3512 Electric Tankless Water Heater, 120V 3.5 kW, Only for 0.5 GPM sinks

I replaced a very old SP3512 that no longer controlled its heat cycles correctly so that the element burned up quickly. Since installing the new replacement over a month ago, the unit is working beautifully. It was easy to install and we are happy to receive consistent warm water to wash our hands in the office.

I use these for sinks in bathrooms in a strip mall and absolutely love them! It only operates when the hot water lever is opened during use and provides fairly hot water. These have lasted a long time and use very little power. You will need to throttle back the flow by installing a restrictor (included) on the end of the faucet, otherwise the flow is too great and the heat coil cant keep up. You wouldn't use this for high demand like doing dishes, but for hand washing in a bathroom or break room, this unit is great.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Our original one became a mechanical failure after 18 months. Since it was out of warranty, we purchased another one from Amazon. In less than 12 months, this unit broke down. The heating element stopped working. As mentioned before in previous reviews, EEMAX tech support wants you to dismantled the unit and test the unit with a device that is common with plumbers not with everyday homes. Until then, EEMAX tech support will not act or help you. As it turned out, it was a defective heating element and they mailed a new one out. We expended time and money to have it installed only to stop working after one week! Several email to the EEMAX tech support had rendered NO RESPONSE. We will have to uninstall this junk and buy a higher quality product from another manufacturer. SAVE YOUR SELF MONEY, HEADACHES AND TROUBLE BY SEEKING ANOTHER PRODUCT.

hello i order 2 sp12 tankless water heaters and 1 sp55 240 volt heater. one of the sp12 heaters malfunction ,and the sp55 water compartment leaked, but both replacments are working great. we have a small church we were with out hot water for many years .i can not compare to any other product this is the only system we have used. the heaters fit in the cabnets under the sink.

I purchased this heater to be install on a hand sink as a codes requirement at one of my customers restaurants . It is the perfect solution the problem as to the water being warm instantaneously for codes ! Works very well very easy to install on existing sink also very well impressed with the company's rapid delivery service as well ! I maybe ordering more as needed !

Good price worked fine for just very short time less then two months was able to get just inside replacement coil which now need to take not only off the connection but open it to replace heating coil

New purchase for a single source under the sink water heater for the kitchen. Unit is small and fits easily under the sink but needs 20amps to operate. New houses have most kitchen outlets rated at 20amps but most older homes do not.

Nice tankless water heater

Product works well and easy to install. I found after the fact that amazon price was a lot higher than I could have got it for. The .5 gpm aerator didn’t fit on the spout of faucet that was existing so I had to find one elsewhere.
