Jetson Element Folding Electric Scooter with LED Headlight, Lightweight and Portable, E-Scooter for Teens and Adults

I have had nothing but problems with this scooter. Its only been ridden by my 10 year daughter. IT stopped working after 3 weeks. I notified the company and went through their rigorous warranty period. took a few weeks to get all the paper approved to send in for repair under warranty. it then took about 2 months before I received it back. after 10 min of riding the nut stripped out and fell off. I placed it back on and then the scooter stopped working. I am now having to go back through the warranty process. All I want is my money back. It appears that I am not able to get my money back, and that I have to continue to get it fixed. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SCOOTER.

Loved riding this scooter. It's heavier that i thought at first, but still easy to transport. I liked the speed, even on uphills. Rode pretty smooth for the 2 weeks I used. Enter week 3, and that's when things went downhill fast. I was riding to a semi-remote destination 4 miles away and the scooter just gave out around mile 2 (the front wheel stopped spinning) suddenly (nothing of the ordinary in the way I was using the scooter) I had to resort to getting a taxi for the remainder 2 miles. Emailed the Jetson customer service for assistance, and got the run-around for about two weeks, and no concrete help/answers on how to proceed with the broken scooter. The assistance emails were very robotic, which only despaired me more about whether or not to resort to amazon returns. I eventually gave up and since the 30-day warranty from amazon was about to expire I just returned to amazon. Won't buy anything from Jetson anytime soon.

This is my first review ever. I’m not someone who posts reviews, but this deserves a review.When I first got the scooter I was psyched. About 5 days later I noticed the battery wasn’t really holding its charge. I blamed it on myself for overcharging.Then about 1 month later the rear tire started to make a Clicking sound. Didn’t matter if the engine was in or off. Scooter was upside down or right side up. It made a clicking sound. I contacted support on Twitter, immediate got a response, filled out the claim form and got approved. They want me to send the scooter back for repair, once fixed they will send it back. Only problem, this would leave me without a way to commute to work.Needless to say their defect is now my problem. Waste of money.

What a disappointment!We really wanted to love this scooter! We wanted to believe the negative reviews were wrong and the positive reviews were correct. But, the negative reviews ended up being correct.Within a week the product started having issues. It would only get to 40% of speed in any gear, making noise, stopping, etc). Even with full charges.Contacted Jetson before returning to give them a chance. They were very responsive until I sent them warranty info. Then crickets. They said to give them 24 to 48 hours, over 48 came and went.Interesting that the positive reviews on here have a note that they received the product free. The negative reviews are those who paid for it. Very telling.Due to this experience we will buy another brand and will avoid Jetson and even their more expensive products.Emailed Jetson one more time to let them know hadn’t heard back, and will have no choice but to initiate a return. They simply closed the case within minutes, no other response. Could respond to that within minutes but not the warranty claim to get us back up and running for days. Unfortunate.

Edit-today after writing my initial review something happened & the motor/front wheel won't move. I had to carry it home...Edit part 2. I've been trying to use my warranty, I had just enough time to register it...however I'm still waiting to hear back...its been a glitchy correspondence so far with their support contact.Initial review. Gets me to & from convenient stores, local restaurants, etc...I bought this anticipating i would use it to get to & from work but have since decided to just using it for quick errands within 2 miles from my apartment. I love it because its lightweight, folds easily, charges easily & has a headlight. Plus fair price. & it's just FUN!

I bought a returned unit, but was supposed to work fine. It was sent to me dirty, like it was never cleaned when it was returned. The unit makes a weird noise at the wheel for the first three seconds. The power is weak!... I'm 178 lbs. The highest speed i was able to achieve was 11 mph, on a DECLINE! I reached 6 mph on a very slight incline. I am so disappointed. I am returning it tomorrow.Seriously, don't even waste your time. You have been warned.

the scooter is made of good materials, and after using for one month, and seems overall fun, and reliable. At first impression, the unit is tough/sturdy, with a good charge can do up to 10mph for 10 miles. this scooter does not have inflated tires, but I have run it over bad roads and even dirt tracks with no complaint Pros: great construction, [reliable] good battery life, [10mph x 10 mles] and finally, it is a joy to ride, [FUN!] Cons: slightly heavy, [@ around 20lbs]. Conclusion: great scooter for the price, great for commuting, or just having fun.

Bought this about 6 months ago and the charging plug now isn't working right and the handlebars popped out of their connection because the bolts fell out on their own and the wires inside got frayed. I've contacted the manufacturer and they are saying that these issues are not covered under their 1 year warranty "due to daily use"! I've talked to a supervisor who told me he would figure out a good solution and is now not returning my emails or calls. DO NOT BUY THIS AND AMAZON NEEDS TO REMOVE THIS MANUFACTURER FROM THEIR SITE ASAP!!!

My first ever review on Amazon after 6-7 years ordering from here. I want to help save others time and money. Read below.I WAS super excited when I purchased this. Changed a week after.-Battery life NEVER lasted as advertised. Max time was 20-30mins from the start.-Scooter reaches max speed of 15km/h only when the street was perfectly level or slanting down, otherwise 10-11km was more the norm.-Scooter quit turning. Exactly like it sounds. Jammed up- would not turn.-Finally, it gave out completely at week 3. Would not turn on. Charged it, did everything I could think of. Does not turn on.Contacted Jetson support right away and after waiting a while, got no solid resolution. They just told me to return it to Amazon. No real sympathy or care, they seemed robotic and self-absorbed.Sadly disappointing. The whole thing was a waste of time and money.

Did NOT come with a manual, and the range is NOT as advertised.... Barely lasts 20 minutes.
