The lights certainly don't match the images displayed on the product's page. It's like they put covers over regular lights and just used some cheap yellow plastic moulds. They aren't in a spot that I can look at them too closely so I don't mind. It's hard to say whether or not these are effective at keeping bugs away because I purchased them a little late for the bug season during the start of fall. They seem to be working great so far.

Bought these to replace regular bulbs in backyard dusk to dawn light fixture which was drawing massive amounts of bugs. They’re not as bright as the bulbs they replaced, but for me that’s a plus.

The light wasn't bright enough, maybe I should have order a higher watt. I wanted to replace 2 bulbs in my dusk to dawn light, one screwed in just fine, the other did not so had to use the one old bulb I had from before that still worked.

These work great but one burnt out after 2 months. So the old tale that energy efficient bulbs will pay for themselves repeatedly over time didn’t ring true in this case. I got them August 18th. Amazons return window ended October 18th. Today is October 23rd. Maybe the manufacturer will replace it.

Although other readers questioned the bulbs plastic nature, they appear to be working like a charm! No issues with delivery or packaging, and installation easy as expected. They do produce a low level yellowish light, so do not expect a bright flood light to illuminate your entire yard.

Unfortunately, these are only clear lights that have a yellow shield over it to make it yellow. A gave three stars because it’s still a good unit but it doesn’t throw out the light that the other leds do that are made by this company.That said, there were another type of yellow that doesn’t have the shield so I’ll try those. If they are like the other leds that this company makes, they should be awesome.Also ordered the orange and purple ones so we’ll see how those are.

These light bulbs are not as they look in the photo and they give almost no light at all. There are very thick plastic covering over the bulbs......and they are not removable. Item returned. Waiting for company to fulfill their refund poliy
