The Blueberry Plants Chandler Northern Highbush set includes four 2-inch rooted starter plants, each growing 3-6 inches tall at shipment. Known as the largest Northern Highbush variety, Chandler produces extra-large, sweet, moderately firm blueberries. Ideal for USDA zones 4-7, these plants require 800-1000 chill hours and deliver a mid-late season harvest lasting six weeks. Fast-growing and upright, they can reach heights of up to 6 feet. Best grown in acidic soil (pH 5.5-6.4) with organic mulch blends, these plants come with USPS shipping and a 30-day live plant return policy.

Arrived in good condition and well packed
3 of the 4 survived, but that was my fault. They were all happy when they arrived. I traveled with them after I received them since I couldn’t leave them at home. Anyway, it will be a few years until I can update but they are all transplanted and establishing famously.

DINT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I have purchased these blueberry plants 3 times now. When they arrive they look amazing although very small. Within a week of planting they are dead. I have other blueberry plants that are thriving. Not sure what the issue is with these particular plants but at this point with 100% death I am certain it isn't me.

Very frail small blueberries
They (4) arrived alive but very small. I kept them a few days in the original container then put them in the ground with a watering system. They look like they will die any day now.

I Got 99 Problems, but a Sunburned Bush Ain’t One (Well, Actually…)
Now let’s embark on a little gardening journey. Picture this, the Chandler Northern Highbush Blueberry Plants arrive at your door in prime condition - four sprightly and verdant plants, full of the promise of a luscious, berry-filled future. The excitement is palpable. The sun is shining, and it’s time to relocate these beauties into the great outdoors! Ah, the sun. Now, there’s the rub. Our greenhouse-raised plant buddies were apparently unaccustomed to such vibrant sunlight. Kind of like that one friend we all have who claims to love the beach, but turns into a lobster after a mere 15 minutes. After just one day in the wilds of my garden, the plants got a bit… crispy. I mean, I’m all for a healthy tan, but this was over the top. It was like they had tried to squeeze in a summer’s worth of sunbathing into one afternoon. An ambitious goal, even for a sun-loving blueberry bush. Might I suggest a minor tweak to the plant prep routine before these chlorophyll-filled comrades are dispatched to customers? A little hardening off, a gradual introduction to the big, bright world outside the greenhouse, could do wonders. Consider it the plant equivalent of slowly wading into the ocean instead of cannonballing into the icy deep. On a positive note, this unexpected sunbathing incident did allow me to channel my inner plant-rescuer (I’m ready for my superhero cape, thank you very much). And despite the initial hiccup, the plants are now recovering nicely, flexing their green leaves, and working on producing what I expect to be a splendid crop of blueberries. All in all, I give these sun-loving, vitamin D overdosing Chandler Northern Highbush Blueberry Plants a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Prepare for a touch of post-arrival plant rehabilitation, but remember - what doesn’t char your plants, makes them hardier. Or at least, that’s what I’m hoping!

Beautiful Plants.
Wish me luck! I want to start expanding my garden for next year........I enjoy traveling to the nursery and orchard in the County. I looked for these plants and they came quickly! They looked great, young and healthy- WISH ME LUCK!!!

50% survived
They all got the same pots, the same soil, the same light, etc. Two died. They reimbursed me for one of them. Two are doing just fine. I sure hope I can root more in the future. Don't have any berries yet since they are so small, but we've had Chandlers before and they are spectacular!!

Risky purchase..,
I purchased several plants. Glad I did not purchase more as I had planned. This is not worth the money spent or even close. They were received not as pictured for sure! If I am lucky I may be able to save a few plants. I am going to try to save as many as possible but it is going to take a lot of TLC! Update: Lost all the plants. The problem is this vendor does not know how to ship their products and they ignore complaints. Don’t waste your money!!!!

Blueberry Plants
Plants are very small and I have doubts that they will survive the fall planting. The growth rate cannot be evaluated at this time.
