I love this journal. It’s great quality imo. I searched specifically for 160 gsm paper bc I’m a freak who needs super thickkkk pages and I like to use highlighters and brush pens, and I HATE bleeding through. I think this weight is perfect, the dots are in an even grid. It’s a good size to hold in the hand. It looks sleek and neat. I like the feel of the synthetic leather. It lays pretty flat. It has nice perforations if you want to tear out a page but it’s sturdy enough that they don’t fall out by mistake which is my biggest pet peeve especially with the glue bound books. The perforations aren’t so obtrusive that they look bad when you leave the pages in. Speaking of, it comes with a built in little table of contents and the pages are numbered!! The only thing that I would change is that I wish there were more pages. Mine goes up to 104 pages, plus a couple of the title/reference pages at the beginning. Another thing is that it does show fingerprints on the cover. Mine came with fingerprints already on it and I think through repeated use it will probably accumulate oil residue. But honestly as it’s a journal I’m planning to use and hold a lot, I don’t mind. Also, I was going to get the green one (my favorite color) but the brown one was literally $2.99! Which is insane. I would have paid full price and I probably will buy another once I inevitably run out of pages. Watch out for the sales, but I think these are easily worth the $20

I'm on my second journal from BEECHMORE. After using the first one for about 9 months I can say I'm done looking. This is the ONLY journal I've even seen that has paper that DOES NOT BLEED THROUGH. No matter the claims, all the others bleed. It's high quality and holds up very well. And as an added bonus, the packaging is beautiful! Felt like I was opening a new iphone!

I'm a bit of a journal addict and this is my new favourite. The pages are thick and sturdy, but still smooth. The presentation is beautiful - would make a lovely gift. I can write with my ClickArt markers with no bleedthrough. My fine nib fountain pens are not scratchy on this paper, and there's no ghosting at all. This journal has definitely kicked my creativity up a notch as I'm no longer obsessing about what I can and can't use on the paper.

I love be a good, well crafted journal. But I wonder if 160gsm is maybe a bit too thick. I have journals at 120gsm that don't bleed. My thought was that thicker is better (and I expected returns). But the thicker page feels more like index cards. They are maybe too thick for a book/journal format. The pages resist laughing flat. It's a beautiful notebook. I just feel like it's too stiff.

It's such an amazing specimen of journal, very elegant. At 160 gsm, the paper's thick enough for rendered art pieces, depending on the media you're using.

Update: Its just the best journal on the market right now for those of us who appreciate thick paper. I'm on my 5th (or so) Beechmore journal. Each time I fill up one book and begin my search for my next "better" journal, I search google and amazon for an alternative, but nothing ever compares if you want paper that is above 100 GSM thickness. If you're in my camp, I'll save you the time: There is ONE alternative that has page numbers, similar thickness, some organization (similar to Leuchturmm (sp?)), and more than 1 ribbon... Just search: Clever Fox Dotted Journal 2.0. The only problem? Its pretty cute... and I'm not looking for cute. Anyhow, this is the best journal on the market and I'd put it over the 'luxury' notebooks out there like Montblanc, etc. I've tried 'em all. Disclaimer: Not an artist or professional bullet journaler. Just a dude with a business job that depends on his notebook. Original Review: I recently got into bullet journaling (the non artistic kind) and I've somehow started enjoying it. Anyhow, this book is certainly higher end and one of the very few with thicker paper. The ink barely shows through the paper and that's a considerable upgrade from the other 'high-end' books out there. If I'm being picky, maybe I'd like the dots to be a little lighter in color? Not sure I'd change a thing other than that. Really good quality, lays flat, no issues.

I LOVE my new Beechmore notebook. I started bullet journaling about six months ago in a cheap notebook to get started. I wanted to step up in the quality of my journal now that I've stuck with it. I debated over a bunch of journals for a long time before deciding on this one and I am incredibly happy with my choice. I LOVE this journal. The cork cover is beautiful and the gluing and stitching is high quality. The back folder is far sturdier than I expected, the side folds of the folder are made from a thin ribbon, not paper, and the gluing is sturdy. So far the elastic strap is holding up to heavy use and I'm not usually careful with them. The paper is much thicker than my last journal and I am totally happy with it. I haven't experienced any feathering, although my sharpie ultra fines did bleed so I'm not using those anymore. Slight ghosting with other black markers (I mostly use a Prismacolor 05 fine line marker and a Papermate felt tip) but not enough that bothers me at all. If you are looking for a sketchbook thickness paper that will prevent ghosting 100% no matter you are doing this might not live up to your expectations but I am super happy with it and will not hesitate to order another.

Compré este dado que se ha descatologado para mi el que era perfecto y se vendía de dos en dos, después de mucho buscar, me he decidido por este algo caro. Solo al abrirlo y verlo, se nota que es increíble, chulo, hoja perfecta para escribir en pluma, acuarela, etc.. etc.. Por poner un pero, la hoja viene troquelada por si la quieres arrancar.. y eso me da la sensación que hace la hace endeble.. un poquito de disgusto.. pero bueno, ahora a escribir y depende del día a día veré si se convertirá en opción a repetir o no.

Quaderno pregiato, pagine spesse, del giusto peso e dimensione. Io lo usato come Bullet journal. Il packaging é ai livelli apple. Essenziale e soddisfacente.

Absolutely love these notebooks, I use them as journals! The covers are very nice and aesthetic while the pages are thick and don’t bleed through if using highlighters. I also love the back pocket that you can put little notes or stickers in. Will definitely be repurchasing!

Das Buch besteht aus knapp über 100 dicken Seiten. Wenn man hier mit Tinte schreibt, sieht man den Text auf der anderen Seite nicht. Das Buch fühlt sich hochwertig an.

Je suis impressionné par la qualité du packaging, une jolie boite blanche style iphone. Le cuir vegan et l'impression liège sont de très belle facture, tout comme le papier. Il y a même une petite enveloppe encollée à la fin du carnet pour y glisser tickets, notes etc. Parfait pour faire un joli cadeau à quelqu'un qui aime écrire, et pour un coût vraiment modique.
