Great quality extremely comfortable
My fiance loves these boots. He has been through atleast 100 pairs in the last year and none was comfortable for him and caused extra swelling and pain. He was shot in a hunting accident his gun went off on safety when he went over a cliff and shot his foot blowing everything apart and out many surgeries, skin graph, plates, bone graph, artery replacement and much more later in attempt to keep his leg. Because of this his foot is always in terrible pain with terrible swelling and his job is hard labor 12 plus hours on his feet a day. That is a lot on anyone's foot let alone his. He has tried hundreds of boots in the last year hoping to find one that would give the support and comfort he needs. He said these boots are absolutely amazing it has cut down over half of the pain and his foot doesn't swell nearly as bad. Before it would swell so bad you would see his boot bulging about 2 to 3 inches. He is so extremely happy and satisfied with these boots we are buying a 2nd pair for everyday use since the 1st pair is for work.

Not waterproof!
Really disappointed with these boots. Main reason I bought these is because the Carhartt name is usually known for quality.I work with concrete so my boots usually take a beating and that normally means I get 6-9 months of wear out of each pair of boots, regardless of price or brand. Over the past 10 years I've worn Carhartt, Redwing, Caterpillar, Ariat, Chippewa and a couple others. These have been the worst so far, I only got 6 weeks of wear before I could feel dampness on the liner inside the front of the boot. I took them home, dried them out completely and looked for some sort of hole or tear in the leather as that is the only reason I could think that water would be coming in so quickly, but found nothing. As you can see from picture these have definitely been worked hard just from a few weeks but nothing to the extent where I have to throw them out already. Even though the rest of the Carhartt products I own have been good to me over the years (bib overalls, hoodie, gloves etc.) I guess I won't be going back to them for boots.

Some seriously Tough boots!!!!
I have put these boots to the test I destroy boots with ease and these Carhartt boots are dam strong and made of high quality materials that are truly capable of taking a beating I’m a hard rock miner most boots quake when they see me and the Carharrts can’t be destroyed so easily been a long time since I’ve been able to say I’ve worn the same pair of boot for a solid year and am still currently wearing them and plenty of miles still left in them

Best boots ever!
This is my 4th pair of these in the past 12 yrs. They are the greatest boots ever. Won’t ever own any other brand!

Great until sole disintegrated
After 3 days to break in, these boots proved comfortable, had good traction and served me well as a landscaper. After about a year, the soles (under the ball of each foot) began to disintegrate. One possible cause: wearing them on an unexpected but necessary 6-mile jog, which may have stressed them beyond what they were meant for. If there was a flaw in the rubber mixture, hopefully it was corrected; then I'd like to buy another pair.

No more tired feet
I bought these because i like carhartt products and durability of them. The boots are great, fit as expected and pretty warm also. I wear them for about 9 hrs a day and my feet are fine at the end of the day...but I do gotta say they are pretty stiff, I'm up and down kneeling most of the day and every now and then they do chafe my feet, I've only had them for about two weeks and they haven't broken them in yet. Pretty long time.
