My grandson 21/2 n my granddaughter 1 have a great time "box" fishing. I love that this set came with two rods n enough fish; almost an entire coral reef, that no matter when one picks up a rod there is always another to hand to the second trying to make a fuss. Each get to fish in their own way...the magnet snaps easy to the rod so "catching" your fish is not hard...reeling is spinning, clicking n extending...so lots of action for different skill levels. Mostly I have to say I didn't expect to have this much dry land fishing fun!!! Wait till we add water😃

I was finally able to let my girls, ages 4 and 2, try these out in the tub tonight! They were so excited and absolutely had a blast! They did have difficulty with coordination and "catching" the creatures (due to them, not the product) but it didn't seem to bother them a bit. If anything made it more appealing. Set came packed in a nice drawstring bag that can be used for storage. The fishing poles, set of two, retract as well so they are easy to pack away. The pole did come apart where it wasn't meant to, but was easily pushed back together and continued to be used. The magnetic tips are adorable turtles but also includes fish to switch out if wanted/needed. The two nets included in the set are pretty poor quality and I doubt will hold up for long. I do appreciate the difference in colors in regard to both the fishing poles and nets. This definitely helped my girls differentiate between whos was who's. I like that the magnetic creatures are a hard plastic. This eases my mind that water will not get trapped inside, causing mold to grow. The small mesh bag inside includes the squeaky bath toys. Due to my reason above and concern for growth of mold, the soft squeaky toys went to the dog. (Who couldn't be happier may I add) Quality wise the set would only get a 3 star but my girls LOVED it! Made bath time enjoyable and the even wanted to continue playing with it outside of tub, which is also an option may I add. So I am sure they would give this a 5 star. For that reason, I'll compromise with a 4 star!

My 4 year old son absolutely loves this bath toy! And for some reason so do I :) It's great fun and a nice way to make the daily bath experience something to look forward to. The cost was perfect, the fishing rods are adorable (he hasn't broken them yet!) and since there are no holes in the magnet fish mold can't get inside. A win win all around, glad I purchased.

I purchased this set for my little granddaughters for Easter. It is super cute and they love it! They have been spreading them on the floor and fishing and using them in the bathtub. The fish are lightweight and colorful. Nicer than I expected.Their grandpa takes them fishing, so they understand the concept but a bit too young to actually fish just yet. (2 & 5) Now they can pretend!So far they are holding up, but you have to play nice with them. They certainly would break if you stepped on them or used them for swords. Lol

This fishing set has so many pieces! The kids love it! It is inexpensive and made pretty cheap, but absolutely worth getting. It’s like the DELUXE dollar store gift every kid loves to splurge on just because they can! This was a toy I let my kids earn and buy themselves and they feel they made the right choice. I would think this would be good for 3-6 year olds. I don’t say younger only because of small magnets on the tips of fish, although we’ve had no problems with magnets coming off.
