Smittybilt 8691 Black Textured Mirror Relocation Bracket for Jeep Wrangler 1997-2006 TJ/ LJ

These relocation brackets accomplished exactly what I needed them to...allowing me to keep the stock mirrors on my 2003 Jeep Wrangler TJ while the doors are off. I haven't driven with the doors on as we keep our doors off all the time, but if I were to put the doors back on I would remove these brackets as I can see how they would rub the paint off the door hinge as you open and close it. They should really fix that...it doesn't seem like it would be too difficult. That is my only negative, but like I said...our doors are off all the time

The mirror side could be a touch larger to keep the mirror mount from wanting to slide off to one side, or smaller to fit inside the mounting area without spacers. The back side could be relieved a bit to clear the door hinges if you want to put them on quickly for a storm event.

The fit was good, a little bit hard to get to the inside bolts. They moved the passenger mirror out so it is a bit hard to see out of but it will be great when the door is off. The price fit my budget but they are a little thin and makes the mirrors vibrate a little. If you have more money to spend look for a pair made from billet or something thicker.

I think it was a good buy but I have half doors on my jeep and with the bracket I can't see out of my right mirror so that sucks I'm not sure about full doors. But with the top half of the door gone I can see perfectly the my right side mirror.

Wasn't sure exactly how these worked when I bought them, but am very pleased with the way they look and ease of install. I've read reviews about not being able to see the passenger mirror using these - those people must sit with the seat all the way forward and leaning against the steering wheel while driving. These are great!

I put these on my tj, the passenger side don’t work , can’t see the mirror because of windshield pillar is in the way
