About this item
We use mature Tonkin Chinese bamboo poles for long lasting fences. These poles are 3/4" in diameter. They will last up to 20 years. Thick wall bamboo poles are drilled and strung on heavy galvanized wire, so you are not able to see the wire. Nylon coated heavy galvanized wire will not rust in the outdoors. Bamboo poles used in our fencing are cleaned and processed with a coat of natural bamboo oil for protection.

Tonkin bamboo culms are straight, thick walled with non-prominent nodes. Tonkin bamboo is the most durable of all bamboo species and lasts longer than other bamboo materials. These bamboo fences are crack resistant and durable, which makes it excellent for outdoor use. The naturally straight and compact form makes it less porous, which makes for an excellent privacy fence or screening in commercial properties or residential homes. It comes in a roll, so it is flexible and easy to set up in tight spaces, on a sloping or an uneven landscape. A beautiful addition to your home and garden.
