10th hole takes too much air to get sound ...
Based on good reviews, I recently ordered four East top harmonicas, all are good except the T008 - which was supposed to be the highest quality of the four, with welded reeds, sanded comb, etc. The 10th hole is defective, taking way too much air to get sound out of the reed. One of the other East top harmonicas I purchased also had the welded reeds, and two had the riveted reeds, and those three are all good. Therefore it seems to be a Quality Control issue on this T008. Disappointing. I will try to exchange it, then update this review.

This hardware is awesome
I don't often write 5 stars, but here goes..The harmonica has a real weight to it. The reed-plates are thick and you can feel it in you hands, not just see it.The sandwich doesn't cut your lips as some other harps do.The notes are snappy, it's super responsive.Bending is about the same as my old LeeOskar. I don't know that I can feel a difference now that I think about it.Overblows are a bit harder, but being honest I suck at them, so I can't really judge. It plays much like the LeeOskar, in that individual notes "tone" better, while the cords don't hit as well as my special20.For the price this thing is a steal. It's my new fav, and I suspect my LeeOskar will be remember fondly, but not missed.
