I wouldn't give this to a smalle child unless you know how to take it apart and fix it. It might be appropriate for children over 5. Also, it's loud so I stiffed a paper towel in the sound box, which works.

This little coin bank is adorable, and its a fun way to save money. I know this is meant to be for smaller kids, but to be completely honest... I got this for my best friend who is 23-years-old. She is extremely interested in anime-like things, so I thought this would just be a nice thing that she can add to her cute little collection. I would say its a good gift for anyone who likes cute things.

My son is 9,l he loves cats and the color green so I got this for him for Christmas in Green. He loves it! Works as expected, would repurchase.

If your read the last edit of my comment I take it back... it took a couple of minutes to actually start moving the arm and take the coins but it’s working now and everybody loves it.. anyone who’s complaining about a noise it makes is dramatic.. it’s an noise you would assume that comes with a plastic mechanical toy... it’s not that bad. Anyone who actually read this far congratulations! Your a tru champ!! Also if your like me and read reviews to know if the product is good or not and have to read like 15+ good reviews to even consider buying it, then trust me when I say it’s good

This was a hit with the kids, they find it funny to feed the cat money and let it pull the coins in. Seems like it made saving fun for them which is always a plus
