Clean, Refreshing, and Effective
I started using Defense Soap after workouts and martial arts training, and it’s now a permanent part of my routine. The scent is clean and natural—not overpowering—and it leaves my skin feeling refreshed without drying it out. What really sets this soap apart is its antifungal and antibacterial properties. It helps prevent common skin issues like ringworm, athlete’s foot, and body acne, especially after sweating or using shared equipment. The lather is rich, and the bar lasts longer than expected, even with daily use.If you’re active, spend time in the gym, or just want a deeper clean, this soap delivers. It’s a solid choice for anyone serious about hygiene and skin health.

Great product with many pros….
Item was packaged nicely and very reliable as well as met scent I chose as well. These items were very good on the skin and the smells were excellent. I could tell the quality it was made in was good from the smell alone. Paid less than you would at the stores and got a good amount for my money. Very good at preventing or just in general showering to keep skin clean and felt made naturally as well.

Keeps you clean 🧼
Use the bars for post training showers (Grappling/sweaty workouts)Soap case is sort of trash and breaks & leaks water, I just throw in a small zip lock.Smells good, feels good but be easy on private areas it can dry you out and leave you irritated for the day.

Thorough review and recommendations here:
I have recently purchased several Tea Tree body washes to help fix some skin/scalp issues. While I finally found one that I love and WORKS (Viking Revolution brand), the liquid versions seem to run out faster than bar soaps, for me. So, based on the positive reviews, and the mentions of them being ‘long-lasting’, I decided to purchase these Defense bars and try THEM out.As I’m intolerant of a lot of different added scents in my soaps — most I find either hive-inducing, overpowering or fake-smelling — I bought the variety pack (Oatmeal, Peppemint, Original) to see which I’d prefer. [NONE of these scents remain on skin after showering, btw.]The first one I began using was the Oatmeal. It lathers really nicely and just a few rubs onto a wet washcloth created enough soapy suds for an entire shower. The sudsy cloth glided easily over skin, never losing its lather. The smell wasn’t exceptionally strong (I have definitely smelled WORSE!) and it disappeared from skin after rinsing. I had no skin reactions (rashes/breakouts/itching) after using. I found it no more drying than any other bar soaps I’ve used. As other reviewers have mentioned, my skin was ‘squeaky clean’ and toweling-off seemed a lot quicker, too. [Although, many Google links warn that ‘squeaky’ isn’t a GOOD thing for your skin].I had just done a deep clean of my shower (removing the soap scum layer/mold/germies/etc.) the previous day, so I was starting fresh. Remarkably, there was NO WAXY FILM left on the walls/floor of my shower after using this soap; the squeegee glided easily over what little water was remaining on surfaces, as well! (I guess it leaves showers ‘squeaky clean’ too.) 👍🏻Second time using the oatmeal bar: I noticed severe burning and itching in groin area and armpits. It might just be due to the fact that those areas were already inflamed/rashy…time will tell. Also, during the second use of this bar, the exfoliating oatmeal pieces began to expose themselves. They weren’t extremely sharp or anything, but I honestly didn’t expect this to be shrapnel-filled soap. I had just assumed that the formula had skin-soothing oatmeal IN it. [My thought was: if someone has been exposed to a fungus/bacteria, why would they ALSO want to risk breaking the skin with an exfoliating soap and possibly allowing for the bacteria to penetrate deeper through micro-tears caused by the exfoliant? It made no sense to me and seemed contradictory to the purpose of this soap. (Returning to the product’s description…Oops! I see it now: “excellent exfoliant”. But, still…)].Day three and no more itching/burning. LOVING how well this stuff lathers with only three spins onto the washcloth!Fourth and fifth+ times using — no issues. Really like it. Seems to be calming down the rashes and irritated skin sections. I DO lather-up and allow it to stay on my skin for several minutes before rinsing, as recommended. One thing I DID notice (between shower(s) #3 (pre-yard work) & #4 (post-yard work), I smelled WORSE than when I use my regular bar soap. Weird, because I had just showered with it BEFORE going outside and getting sweaty; so much for its antibacterial properties! (No different than any other ‘all natural’ or homemade soap bar I’ve ever used, though.)As I can’t wait to try the other varieties, I am going to cut the other two bars in half. That way, my husband and I can BOTH experience them and come back with our takes on those. [These bars cut across nicely using a sharp kitchen knife. There was minimal chipping/slivering at the cut site.]The next one I tried was Original. Although it seemed to work as well as the Oatmeal, and produced a luxurious lather, I really don’t care for the scent of this one. It seemed more earthy and just blah. It didn’t have a very strong tea tree smell, nor did it smell like anything else but a boring, homemade soap and/or vegetable oil. It seemed slimier than the Oatmeal version, too. I experienced no reactions from this Original bar and my skin does not seem any dryer after using this one, either.UPDATE: The more I use this Orignal bar, the more it smells like rancid cooking oil. Quite disgusting. Saving this one for foot-washing only as I cannot tolerate it anywhere close to the olfactory. What I’ve noticed — as with any other ‘natural’ bar soaps I’ve ever used — the initial scent fades-down after just a few uses. So, for anyone concerned about the possible tea tree smell, it’s only there for a short time/2-3 showers. Neither of the bars got mushy when exposed to water, or whittled-down to nothing after daily use; they all stayed bar-shaped and dried themselves out well. Now for Peppermint…Well, I tried this one for the first time today. I have to say… NOT impressed. The peppermint was barely noticeable… nor was the tea tree. As the other two bars had, this one lathered well, but it was as boring an experience as the Original scent; absolutely NOTHING invigorating or special about it. This one actually smelled kind of off-putting and gross. As these soaps don’t seem to be making matters WORSE, and seem to be keeping any NEW skin issues from cropping up, I just ordered another 3-variety pack during Prime Day — refusing to pay what I shelled-out for the first order.OF THE THREE:Overall, the Oatmeal is my favorite. Not necessarily for the exfoliating properties, as I do not lather it directly onto my skin. But, I do find its mild scent less off-putting or lackluster than the rest. My skin feels clean and soft after using.WHAT WORKS:So far, so good using Viking Revolution TT body wash on the MOST-susceptible areas (pits/under boobs/skin folds/groin/feet) and this Defense soap on the rest. For dry, flaky scalp: GVP Tea Tree Shampoo (generic Paul Mitchell) B0041TBSS4 and the matching conditioner B004FK4FCA . A cool hairdryer — to thoroughly rid all cracks/crevices of moisture — and a dusting of Anti-Monkey Butt Powder. With the combination of: GVP, Viking Revolution, Defense, a hairdryer, and Lady AMB — I think I’ve found the perfect mix to fix and keep the funk, flakes and itchies at bay. Bonus: I have not needed deodorant in months — using the Viking BW on the stink-prone areas, that is.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been using Defense soap for a few months now and I love it !!! The price of the soap I highly recommend to buy in large bundles of to innate to save .The quality of the lather is thick like shaving cream. There is no smell to defense soap is I love the fact that. It is fragrant freeI feel great after using Defense soap because it does jut dry out your skin .This soap pays for but self because I rather invest in good soap rather then going to the dermatologist.
