This is my second Swann product and once again, no regrets at all.Installation took me about 8 hours and the POE made it very easy. Picture quality is excellent and the motion alerts were very easy to set up. I had two minor issues that I called customer support for and hold times were less than 5 minutes each time. After a short conversation the the support person, everything was up and running. The phone app works perfect. I have no complaints at this time. Should something happen, I will be sure to update my review. I do not work for Swann and I paid full price for the item.There is one bad review - something about more options with other systems - I disagree, this is an option rich system that will do anything you need it to. I can't imagine what else one would want.An install tip:Test all of the cables and cameras BEFORE you install anything. This way, if there is a problem, you can fix it quickly with minimal effort.

I have yet to mount these camera in their permanent outdoor locations, so this review is based on the quality I got from testing during setup.Everything is packaged nice and well protected. The NVR plastic shell casing seems weak and thin, but there is a sticker that lets users know not to stack anything on top of the body. Not a big deal at all and doesn't affect the core use.When starting up for the first time, you are walked through a startup wizard to help you configure the display and system settings for the NVR. An external display with VGA or HDMI ports will be able to connect to the NVR.Set up was very easy, and the cameras were online in just a few minutes. A QR code for the Homesafe View app is displayed and on the top of the NVR to help you connect to the app.At first I had trouble connecting to GMail and DropBox. This was resolved by altering a few settings in the Gmail preferences.So far, the indoor picture quality is amazing. Both day and NV modes look flawless for indoors. The frame rate is smooth and changing the live view updates to real-time has not caused any issues yet. Playback was tricky to figure out initially but looks just as good as well. The timeline view is a little annoying to navigate right now so hopefully I will figure this out as I continue using it.Overall, I'm not disappointed with this system and look forward to using them. This camera system is replacing 4 separate Nest cameras I was previously using before Google started stripping them of their functionality. The 5mp quality and PoE connectivity is so much better, plus I can still expand up to 4 more cameras including (apparently) adding compatible 4k cameras and some PTZ cameras (if I'm wrong please reply so I don't give out wrong info)

It does NOT live up to the hype and advertising. The picture quality for 5K is not that clear. The night vision is horrible because it is very limited due to the “spotlight” function it uses. No one speaks English you can understand at their Tech Support. Their phones are also constantly disconnecting.I installed the 3 of the 4 cameras right away. I installed the 4th one last week and it stopped working overnight. I’ve tried rebooting and unplugging everything. The media could not be loaded.  I ordered Swann for the PIR. Most camera use camera image to sense motion too sensitive. PIR only sense the heat source. I need my 2TB NVR to record for up to one month.After setup I install the app by scan the 2-D code in my phone. It worked. When install app to PC, PC does not have a scanner, the instruction did not say to use Homesafer View in PC for remote access. I searched on internet found to use Swann View Link. Run the app and login timeout. Found a lot customer complained login timeout. After called Swann support. One level 2 Mr. Chris told me the app I used is wrong. So PC remote access was solved. He remote to my PC to upgrade both NVR and camera firmware. After that all works fine. But one camera did not sense motion very good. I have two cameras in front sense the car in front street. Sometime both cameras record same event. sometime one failed to sense motion.The remote app on PC generally works fine. but when I try zoom to see car license number, it only go to full screen mode. Also the remote app not very stable. sometime I have to shut the app down and restart it.

Nice wired system for the money. One of the cameras has a bad speaker and after dealing with customer support 3 times I still dont have a RMA. I am just going to buy a new camera rather than deal with them again. also the phone app is just OK. I recommend WYZE cameras if you have good WiFi and want a good phone app.

Great product and super easy to install and use.The Hard Disk Drive eventually crashed after 4 years of running 24/7 but was easy to swap out for a new one.I have one camera down now after 6 years so am not sure if it is maybe a cable failure due to being outside.Was a little more tricky adding it to my Wifi network for viewing via the Swann App and needed my Wifi Provider to give it a static IP.

Kit worked out of the box,scanned code on NVR downloaded home safe,all worked fine but 8 days later infrared went on one camera contacted TAB Retailers Ltd they sent me a returns label to return the duff camera ,week later replacement camera fitted and working fine, pleased with purchase

This system was simple to install with only Ethernet to worry about. Picture quality is good but I guess for more money(higher quality picture) you’d get better. I haven’t quite got the sensitive right yet but there’s plenty of adjustment. A great system.

Works great since last May 2019. Had one faulty camera that got replaced without a hassle.
