South Shore is a Class Act
I bought two of these for our beds, and they are beautiful to behold. But during construction one of them broke apart, via a combination of factors... human included. I reached out to South Shore on a Friday night, but forgot about it. Yet, 8AM Monday morning, they called and after a very lengthy and detailed conversation about what went wrong and all, they set up to send me replacement parts.But then I suggested we talk about another bed frame, the second one, which wasn't quite the same. The caller on the other end looked up dimensions and options and we figured out a way to connect the headboard to the bed frame.Overall, this was close to a 90-minute call, and when all was said and done, I had answers to questions, replacement parts on their way, and even a custom adapter on its way too, cost free.The service was amazing, the politeness and calm demeanor of the person calling was such a pleasure, and all, well, it was a great call.The product itself, is TECHNICALLY easy to put together. Follow and sort out the images in the directions and you should be OK. All the predrilled holes are perfect, but it's big and a wee bit cumbersome to construct, but that's the price of a big piece of furniture.If anything else develops while attached to the beds, I'll update this review, but at the moment, I'm not expecting to add updates.AMAZING consumer experience.

Bought this for my 13 year old son. The gray color looks fantastic and the headboard is heavy weight and solid. No issues with shipping. Product arrived quickly and no blemishes.Customer service was amazing too. After putting the headboard together, I decided we would benefit from an EXTRA part (not a replacement) to add structural integrity since we had a tall (14") bed frame that left the headboard wobbling a bit. I called customer service and asked if I could buy the extra part (a board.) Not only did they send it quickly, but they did it no questions asked and they did it for free! Not even any shipping charges.If you have a high bed frame you'll need a special long bracket to bridge the gap between the high frame and the standard height (low) headboard connector board. Even with that, I ended up drilling new holes in my game using some metal drill bits from Lowe's. All of this really had nothing to do with the headboard itself. It was the high bed frame we bit that necessitated the retrofit.Also, be aware this is really a queen size headboard, so if you connect it to a full size bed, the headboard will stick out about 6 inches on each side with detracts from the about a bit. However if you have a nice big, thick comforter, it will "cover" up the jutted out part pretty well and it looks fine when the bed is made. (Pain the pun.)All in all, for the price and the customer service and the look of the headboard, i highly recommend it.

Pressed board covered in paper
Immediately opened the box once it arrived because I was so excited to put it together, but I was quickly disappointed. The description says "wood", but its pressed board wrapped in paper to appear like wood.... Really bummed me out. It looks cheap, and no one wants something to look cheap when it costs more than $200 after taxes. I'm sure other people love this look, but it isn't for me at all.

Would have been more pleased if not a return.
The headboard arrived with a crack and some of the brackets and screws already in, which means it was most likely a return. I supposedly purchased a new one. Disappointing!

Bang for my buck
easy to assemble and cheaper on amazon than original website I was looking at it on -while it is nice looking it is also made of particle board so I wouldn't recommend it unless you're out of the honeymoon stage of your marriage 😂🤣🤣😂
