Great but don’t forget Sand!
Excellent fire pit. Looks nice, good price, comes with a good starting out poker and decent cover. I wanted a longer poker though so the smoke didn’t get in my face as much. I bought a good priced one for $10-15. It’s my first fire pit so it’s been great as a beginner. It’s a good size. We keep it on concrete so no need to put it on cinderblocks. You do need to make sure you put sand in the bottom. I think they said 5 lbs in the directions. Honestly it doesn’t need to be exact just put enough to cover the bottom. I ended up mixing the sand with lava rock too just for fun. I don’t change it very often because I try to use water sparingly to avoid the muck people talk about forming. You need to find the right amount for how long you are willing to stay outside. Don’t buy a starter log that burns for 3 hours if you don’t want to stay out for 3 hours. I also avoid using fatwood so it doesn’t get as dirty. I use about 3-4 logs, small fire starter brick, some kindling I bought off amazon that is untreated wood and just make the classic pyramid. I use the poker to help keep the fire even while it’s burning and to help put out embers when I am done. Fun and easy! Looks good too.Note- I noticed some people said they got burned off if this. If you can keep to this rule you will be fine: Fire makes metal hot...

What a great design!
This is the best firepit I've ever gotten! It's larger than I thought it would be, probably just more efficient because it's square. It's nice and deep, so the wood and sticks don't fall out. It already has vent holes under than angle iron on the base!! This is brilliant because the angle iron prevents the vent holes from getting clogged and ash from falling out. And it has a base, instead of legs, which will be the first things to fall off when it rusts. And it will rust. I think this one will last longer than others I've gotten. I make a lot of patio fires so I got through a lot of fire pits. They only last so long, no matter what you pay for them, this one is about the price point I usually get, but it's a lot nicer!I know the book calls that thing a poker, but I think it's really just a tool to put on and take off the top. I don't really use the top when I'm burning stuff, but I add it when I'm done and there's still a smoldering fire in it.I'm probably going to get an extra one for myself, and one for a friend that also burns a lot of patio fires. One word of caution, the base is close to the ground so I would not recommend it for a wood deck unless precautions are used. I have patio stones on the ground, I like a low fire because you can feel the heat better.I'm actually sitting out on my patio as I type this. It's not cold, but the bugs are bad so I made a small fire with small wood.I was torn between this one and a couple others when I was perusing fire pits. I'm so glad I chose this one! It's simple yet sturdy. The vent holes are a nice touch, and it will hold quite a bit of wood and larger logs.

Buy it while it's in stock!
So sturdy and well made. People complained about the cover it comes with... I haven't had a tear in it this season, no problems at all. I put a little sand at the bottom like it says too. The poker is the only negative. It's way too short. I suggest maybe buying a longer one. This firepit is perfect! It's functional but it's also really beautiful! So glad I bought it. I paid more right after quarantine began, so buy it now while it's in stock and less expensive!UPDATE: 9/13/20Quick update on this product. It has started to rust quite a bit. I'm going to sand it down and spray paint it with a high heat black spray paint. I see this as a negative because I've kept it covered when not in use. Also, my old, cheaper fire pit did not rust for the first year or longer and I never covered it. I'm disappointed because I really liked the finish. Given the excessive rust and the short poker, I have to deduct a start from my initial 5 star review.

First Take, Second Take: nice size, nice look, nice quality
Initial take:Just used this for the first time last night - and love it so far. NOW .... it has to NOT rust and hold up over time. But initially, it's fantastic. Building it was super easy. I sprayed it with ultra high heat rustoleum - which will hopefully help! The look is great. Everything seems like good quality.I love the size - it's big enough that I didn't have to break branches down to small pieces to fit them in without them hanging over the edges. I almost went with a circular one, but I like that if you have a piece of wood going corner to corner, it can be pretty long.I'm also putting some seam sealer and weather sealant on the cover. It feels like its vinyl and may not last too long - especially out in the elements. But we'll see.UPDATE, May 2020We’ve had this for a few years now and it is still in great shape. We take really good care of it. It’s been out in the rain a few times but mostly we have kept it covered or indoors. I did decide to spray it again with rustoleum, so that it stayed nice. Still looking good and very strong. Still happy.

Very nice Fire Pit
We really like our fire pit. It even comes with a tool to lift the cover off when hot, and so you can stoke the fire with it. You even get a protective cover to protect it from the weather.Great to add a few logs to have a nice fire and make s’mores. The kids love it too. We keep it on the edge of the patio and it provides a relaxing fire and warmth for the kids when they were still swimming in the pool and the evening air was cool. This fire pit is very large to make a large fire or small fire. The cover is nice, there is screen around the sides of the fire pit so no hot ash can fall out while stoking the fire. When done and it is cooled completely the next morning, you just get a broom and dust pan and sweep it and put in the trash. You could just use a dry vac if you wanted it super clean. This even comes with a protective cover. So once it is all cleaned out, put the cover over it and pull the string at the bottom to tighten it. Very nice fire pit and the price was good.

Great Fire Pit!!!
This is a great fire pit. It looks really sharp and compliments our patio nicely. It only took about 15 minutes to unpack and assemble. All that is required for assembly is screwing the legs on to the base unit and screwing the handle to the cover.I was concerned about how the fire pit would stand over time, since there is only 3 baffles on the bottom of the fire pit and no grate. I was worried that the bottom would get too hot and eventually break. I did a quick google search and discovered that if you add lava rocks on the bottom of the fire pit it will help dissipate the heat away from the bottom. The lava rocks work great and as you can see by the picture it adds to the overall look of the fire pit. I would definitely recommend adding the lava rocks. The lid is well made and the screen is sturdy enough that it won't collapse like other fire pits I've seen. The fire pit comes with a vinyl cover but I doubt that it will last long exposed to the elements. If you leave your fire pit out all year round, I would suggest buying a better cover.Overall, we really like the fire pit but I will update my review after we have had it for a few months.

If it ever stops raining.....
This fire pit is very well made and works very well. The design gives off good heat distribution and the coppery finish is different to the many dull black products that are on the market. Also very pleased with the cover that comes with it. Easy to assemble. If it ever stops raining this summer....

Great addition to the backyard!
Very sturdy, easy to assemble fire pit (my toddler helped assemble). Bigger than expected. Deep and can hold quite a few logs. Comes with a little cover to protect from the rain and prevent rusting.

Works well
Great to sit outdoors next to a roaring log fire on a cold frosty winters night. I'd intended to buy the bowl like fire pit but I opted for this one instead and I'm glad I did.

Nice
Pretty nifty fire pit. Left it in the rain and it rusted a bit. Maybe spray it with something to prevent that lol.
