Not sure about this yet. The area for water is small & seems like it’s going to burn up fast and burn ingredients. On the fence, however have not used yet.

Loved this set! The candy I was making turned out perfect. I was worried because I’ve never used a double boiler before. I had no problem at all. The handle stayed cool throughout the process, and the pans were easy to clean. Sturdy and thicker bottom on the pan that sits on the burner. So glad I took the leap and got this set!

Easy to use. Melts chocolate evenly and smoothly. No leakage of steam to seize the chocolate. It does have a small rim that allows in to fit together well. I use a rubber or silicone spatula and have no issues with it. Cleans up very easily.

I used to make shift double boilers and finally got tired of it so I went and bought this one and it was totally worth the money. Easy to use and will last a long time.

Simple to use, worked well for me. It’s not very large, so if you’re having to do major cooking for a large crowd you may need a bigger double boiler.
