Product wanted a 20 watt bulb but these work great
Was afraid these might not work as well as the original 20W my lamp came with, but it's moving just fine.Update: Bulb one burnt out after just two months (the original that came with the lamp lasted me well over two years) could just be luck, but I subtracted a star and will update again depending how 2nd bulb holds up. I was certainly expecting more considering I could have just bought a new lamp for nearly this price.

Exactly what I needed
Could not find these kind of bulbs anywhere else. I have a lava lamp as a gift I received a few years ago and my bulb had finally gave out. These fit just right and are exactly what I was looking for, so far so good!

Works great for the ferro-fluid type lava lamps
This was a god-send after my son's ferro-fluid lava lamp stopped working after the first use because the bulb blew out. Home Depot and Lowes were of little help since they don't stock anything this specific. Had tried a few other types of light bulbs from Amazon but they were either too strong or didn't get things moving at all. This worked exactly as promised for the intended use. Thanks.

The bulb would not fit my lava lamp. Had to return.

Be patient.
It takes about two and a half hours for the lava light to be heated enough to begin working.
