Excellent for tutoring folks trying to pass their GED and no doubt HS students too. Clearly written with many tips for solving such problems regardless of the complexity. Great book. Helped my daughter understand how to solve word problems which has always mystified her.

The example problems in the book provides a base for solving the practice problems. I appreciate that the practice problems are not exactly like the examples.

It helps my son to learn.

It is what it suggests, I bought it for my fiance but she has not even cracked it yet. Soooo, I will give it five stars until or if she uses it and will edit if I have a different experience.

I didn’t have good math teachers. I grew up thinking I was not good at math word problems. It was too difficult for me. As an adult I decided to fix one of my issues. May be too late but I want to be able to be able to use my math skills skills. This is one of the books I think is helping me. Recommend it.
