I like that it has the slip-in style holster as the lock in type generally get in the way of the seatbelt and other near objects and cause the lock tab to break off of the holster.The phone slides in tight when you first start using it but it does loosen up quite a bit in a short time.The major design flaw that really needs to be addressed is the phone case and the holster contact point where the Bixby home button makes contact below the volume buttons. The holster presses the button and activates Bixby constantly. We used a razor knife and trimmed the button flush with the guard on the phone case. This stopped the holster from accidentally pressing the button.I'm curious to how long the pin that secures the belt latch to the holster lasts. It looks really small in comparison to some other holsters we have used in the past. Pins this size normally break once you get the holster in a bind such as sitting in your vehicle and the holster catches the seatbelt latch as you get in the car. maybe they have a good design but time will tell.I wear a 1-1/2" wide leather work belt. The latch is not wide enough in it's current design to lock around my work belt. The small lip to catch the belt is in the wrong location on the latch and is narrow in width. Move it to the very end and make it as wide as the latch. The wire lock under the latch to hold the latch open is a waste of time.The phone stand on the case is nice except 1 flaw. It is upside down and doesn't rotate. Ok, maybe 2. Redesign it with the volume buttons on top of the phone while the cradle is being used. They are on the bottom and hard to use when viewing movies and such from your phone.Although there are 2 HUGE standoffs on the back of the phone case, my wireless charging stand actually picked up the phone and started charging. Maybe not all chargers can do this but one of mine did. I haven't tried them all. Just food for thought here.

Case is very slick. Husband's phone slide right out of the case. He ended up not using it, would have been to easy to lose his phone.

Cons - 1) the color purple is not as dark as the picture which is disappointing. 2) I can't use the clip-on holster it came with because it sets off the Bixby button EVERY SINGLE TIME when you slide the phone into it. 3) If you try to use the holster anyway, the phone faces the back and is covered up. It protects the screen but you can't use it all in the clip-on holster. 4) Can't use it with my magnetic car holder so I had to order a new car vent cell phone holder.Pros - 1) fits Galaxy S8 Active perfectly. 2) good price even with the cons.Overall I would recommend it if you don't plan on using the clip-on holster.

For my Samsung S8 Active phone, this is a cost effective replacement for my $$ broken pelican case.

I was totally satisfied with this phone case up until the point that when I sit, it always allows accidental activation of the Samsung assistant. I’m far from overweight or even the least bit fat. So that being said, it got very annoying after about the 10th time. My solution, I bought another phone case.

The picture of the product shows a metallic looking case of a darker gray color than the light gray color of the actual case. Also the rotating belt clip is really hard to rotate.
