Ortovox None 2018 Zoom Plus Snowboarding Rescue Kit (Default , Blue)

This is a great kit for almost any skier or snowboarder venturing into the backcountry. The beacon is super simple and straightforward to use and hasn’t failed me. The shovel and probe are easy to put together which is super important in the case of a burial. The paint is chipping on the front edge of the shovel but that’s expected with use. One thing I love about the Ortovox probe that most other probes don’t feature is the color markings to quickly tell the depth of the probe. The bottom section of the probe, which is 40cm, is a different color from the rest of the probe so you can quickly estimate the depth of it. There’s also a bright orange mark at the 100cm mark. These make it so you can quickly estimate the depth without having to take the time of reading the numbers. Depending on preference, some people may want a bit longer of a probe and some people may want the weight savings of the carbon shovel or probe, but with this kit, you don’t have to worry about the durability of it like you might with a carbon head. This kit will be a great buy for almost everybody venturing into the backcountry.

Beacon and shovel are excellent. Fortunately haven't had to test them for real but did a few training scenarios to make sure everything worked well, passed with flying colors. You could spend more money on a probe and get a better one. However, it will get the job done.

Arrived quickly, easy to use, really liked that it reminded me to turn off once it was removed.

Para empezar y como material básico está bién. No tienen ni el peso ni los materiales más comepetentes del mercado en este momento, Y respecto al DVA se va quedando ya un poco anticuado con las funciones y el multivictima. No obstante sigue siendo buena opción para iniciación y sacarnos del paso.

He realizado una devolución del anterior por manipulación del embalaje y me he pedido otro de nuevo. Mismo resultado. Dejo el comentario que ya hice en el primer pedido, pero ahora bajo la puntuación a una estrella."La caja exterior de Amazon venía correctamente, pero al abrirla, la caja del producto (que lleva tres internamente) venía como si el producto ya su hubiera abierto y vuelto a montar la caja. Al abrirla tanto la sonda como la pala tienen buen aspecto y no presentan ningún defecto aparente, pero la caja del ARVA, de nuevo se ve manipulada. La pegatina de cierre de la caja está despegada y alguna parte del interior de cartón que realiza de separación están rotas y sueltas dentro de la caja. El ARVA aparentemente esta bien por fuera, funciona, pero no dispongo ahora mismo de otro ARVA para probarlo, por lo que no se si funciona correctamente. Esto es quizás los que mas me preocupa, pues es para proteger mi vida en caso de avalancha y no se si el producto ha sido manipulado, por esto sobre todo, y por un retraso de varios días le doy dos estrellas."

Pues como va el anuncio indica se trata de un kit de pala sonda y dispositivo arva. Muy buena la calidad de todos los productos ya que se ven resistentes, son ligeros y esperemos que sea una compra que nunca tenga que llegar a utilizar realmente.
