Minature Internal Combustion Engines
Have considered the purchase of this book for a long time , but after having a chance to leaf through the pages of a copy found I'd waited too long! All I can say is it prevents reinventing the wheel, gives inspiration and guidance, whilst reviewing a lot of manufacturing methods to suit facilities and needs. The pages cover virtually all the areas required to make an engine to your own design, as well as giving guidance for making up of a kit of parts. An excellent addition to the bookshelf of anyone seriously interested in small IC engines.

A good place to start
Good coverage of what is possible in the home workshop which will help the reader to pick a project that is right for him. it does not contain any detailed drawings, you will need to find them elsewhere, but it is excellent reading if you are thinking of building an engine.

Superb
An absolutely first rate guide from a master model engineer. This is a general guide to the skills needed for model engine building rather than a step-by-step instruction manual for a particular engine. Easy to read, instructional, and enjoyable.
