There were so many sones and gems in the bag I was totally shocked! This was so fun to use and see what surprises we could find. Such a great price for all of the stones and gems.

With my wife passing away a few months ago Ive picked up quite a few hobbies to keep me busy. I need to stay busy. Ive always wanted to sift and tumble rocks. I kept everything but the sand... :D The bigger ones will be tumbled. I have no idea what I have.... it was fun and well worth the money for time spent as im not even finished yet. Will probably buy again but maybe a different type, may even try the gold bag. Thanks!

I feel very conflicted about this product. I've included photos of what I received in my bag so you have an idea of what you can get. As you can see, most of the rocks in the bag were gravel (some was quartz gravel, but still). I do not think this is horrible or anything, but definitely most of the eight pounds was gravel, not gemstones. This makes it a little misleading. My expectations would be lower if someone else had posted these photos, and maybe I'd be less conflicted.Now about the gems! I really do enjoy the ones I received, even if I'm not entirely sure what some of them are. My favorite is the large hunk of green something.. Anyway, for $22 you could definitely get larger amounts of the gems then I received. However if you treat this like an experience and a sampler, it might not be that unreasonable to you. Now if I figure out what the big hunk of green is, I can go buy that specifically. But also, the amount of gems next to the sample bag photo is definitely more than I received, but that could be luck of the draw? Either way that may also be a little misleading.When factoring in shipping cost, I do not think I would purchase this product again. However the gems I got were beautiful, it was very well packaged and shipping within hours of ordering, and I loved the experience of not knowing what was in the bag. Just wish there was more of it, I guess. So four stars seems fair.

Had a few friends over and they all wanted to try it, esp after I told them about the bag of gold dirt I had purchased from this vendor. As any of the blind bags for panning your not always gonna get your exact money's worth back, but you get the experience and memories of spending time with the ones you care about doing it. Will order some more bags in the future and hope I get lucky with and get a bonus bag, lol.

Great service and really awesome gem bag. We spent an hour digging through the bag and couldn't believe what we had found. Bag was PACKED with all kinds of beautiful gems - really didn't expect to get so much for such a good price.Well worth it, we already bought another bag

My Tiny Human had a Blast going through his paydirt and finding all the gems. We had some really nice big ones, he loved it. Well worth the money, will buy again for sure!

It was to be a gift so I checked it out first (thank goodness). Just big rocks with some crystal-ish appearance but as you can see from the photo - not gift worthy. Nothing to excite a child and very few gems. Just dirt and big rocks.
