I struggle to get adequate magnesium in my diet, so I get headaches. Solgar offer this Magnesium Calcium combo because these two minerals work best in a particular ratio. It’s the usual Solgar high quality. To get 100% RDA though requires you swallow three very large tablets. I do wish Solgar could solve for a smaller tablet. Generally I take one or two a day and aim to get the rest of what I need from greens and dairy. That seems to work for me.

I’ve been using this steadily for about 3 months because I had a rheumatologist suggest magnesium for my Fibromyalgia pain, I heard this helps with restless legs and my dad suggested I take Zinc anyways. I do not regret it at all! I’m not a firm believer in supplements except the forced vitamin D I have to take but this won me over for sure. At first I didn’t think it did much just slightly decreased some Fibro pain until one week I ran out and forgot to order a replacement bottle and it was HELL. My body was in more pain than normal and my legs were so restless I felt like a cricket trying to get cozy. As soon as I went back on it the pain decreased and legs relaxed more. I don’t think it was withdrawals from it since I knew taking this combination of vitamins would be vital to my illnesses anyways and I don’t have reactions to vitamins so strongly like that. If you have any of the struggles I have then I recommend buying this. It’s totally affordable and it lasts a decent amount of time. Since I have a lot of medication I need to take daily, I take only 2 pills per day instead of the recommended 3 and it still works out for me. It lasts longer and I don’t have to force feed myself so much.
