15in MacBook Pro, Retina, Touch Bar, 2.9GHz Intel Core i7 Quad Core, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Space Gray, MPTT2LL/A (Renewed)

Despite I was hesitant to buy a refurbished MacBook Pro, adding that some buyers had a non favorable at all reviews when I was thinking to buy, I decided to try with this vendor Kanga and if any issue happens, to return it before the 90 days period. By now being the third day after "unboxing", the experience has been so pleasant, with the following highlights: 1.- Speakers performs like sound bar systems, even better that some bars for TVs. I've been listening this morning a Pink Floyd concert in YouTube and i've found its flawless sound is amazing, much better than my 50 inches Smart TV. 2.- It had MacOS Monterey preinstalled, and after a not so long update, I had the latest version 12.4, with all current patches. 3.- It has a minor scratch on the back of the screen, and I won't see it when I put the case on the MacBook Pro, so I don't care too much of this. It looks and behave like new MacBook Pro, in a mint condition, despite it is at least 5 years old. 4.- Coming from a MacBook Pro 2015, I'm getting used to the touch bar, however the learning curve has been no significant and I'm learning quickly its features. Touch Bar working fine at the moment. 5.- Touch ID did follow its procedure to acquire my finger marks, so now its working fine too. 6.- I believe those who mentioned bad experiences with their buys, however that is not my case until now. 7.- I may think by a moment that I'm using a MacBook Pro with M1 Pro, without paying that hefty price. However when looking that the Apple support status it is out of warranty, so I'm coming back to the reality. 8.- I found it required additional hardware to connect with my HDs with Thunderbolt for USB C, so having converters I did the first Time Machine backup with no issues. 9.- Battery is above 90% capacity, with no cycles of use, so I understand the degradation may come because of the time and not by a previous use. I'm trying to use adding heavy workloads to the MacBook Pro in order to find any possible issue (like graphic card bugs), however at this moment the behavior is very good as expected. So I congratule Kanga to deliver this excellent device that I'm enjoying by now. However if something changes, I will update this review in the coming days, or to return it at the first failure.

This is a scam! They sold me useless laptop marked as Excellent and according to Amazon's own Website, Excellent was suppose to be functional and in great condition with almost no damage with great battery quality and so on. But this is unusable laptop with a scratch on the back you can see from distance, keyboard is annoying, clunky and not usable. AND YET, I HAVE TO PAY around $33 to return out of my own pocket? Why amazon allow this? We buy from amazon, trusting the company will do proper regulations so such devices shouldn't be sold or if they do customer should not remain scammed. I feel cheated and scammed! Why should i pay for someone else's issue?

Excellent condition. Update took about 4 hrs but other than that it was ready to go. Holds a 10+ hr charge.

The laptop is in really good shape appearance wise. There’s one really small dent on the bottom where the keyboard part meets the screen (can barely see it and it’s not visible at all when using laptop). also all the keys and functions work correctly along with the touchscreen bar. So appearance its basically a 5/5.. but now with the sort of bad.. when u go to battery health it says “the batteries capacity is significantly reduced. to restore capacity, Please check your service options.” I charged it all the way no issue at all but it went from 100% charge to 70 in a little less than 2 hours. The battery isn’t completely cooked but a little weak. So with that being said, if I wanna keep the MacBook I’m gonna have to replace the battery if I wanna use it for long term multitasking thru the day which I will be using it for long periods. I thought about returning it but bc the appearance is really good I don’t wanna return it and get a new one with a better battery and it have a significant amount of cosmetic damage.. so what I’ve decided is I’m gonna keep it considering the good price. Gonna spend the $100-$150 and get battery replacement. That’s my honest review for you all to consider. UPDATE A FEW DAYS LATER: after using it for a few days it seems like I'm getting about 6 plus hours of heavy use straight but way longer if not continuous. I use it for crypto/social media/ videos etc. and it also seems like from 100 percent battery to 50 percent battery it now lasts longer. its a possibility it sat turned off for awhile before I purchased it idk? also I talked to a repair place and he said even with a aftermarket battery if its not apple certified it will say it needs service and won't show battery health if its not apple certified and calibrated by apple.. it could be aftermarket since its 2017 model.. so I'm gonna change the review to 5 stars when originally I gave it 4. I jumped the gun and gave it a review too quick without using it even one full charge. I've been using it all day on and off since 12 pm and its still got plenty battery left.

I bought this MacBook for simple everyday use and for work but no longer work for the place I needed it for so I use it just for my daily use. This laptop is surprisingly great with small games, I wanted to start playing games to pass the time and it runs the games as it should, maybe a little loud with the fan and battery may not last but I normally use it in clamshell mode anyway so the battery isn’t a horrible issue. I would say for around $450 it is great, I at first had a bit of issues with the space bar but after about an hour of typing and breaking it in it seems to have fixed the issue. When I first got it the battery was completely dead as expected but took around an hour to charge to a state of being able to use, the screen had no problems, it is amazing value, setting up the OS is simple and quick, the screen had no cracks, scratches, or anything wrong with it, and the laptop itself had a great overall appearance with no buffs or scratches to be seen. If I had to recommend a laptop that is affordable, works well, for school or work, or even just daily use I would recommend this one. Great job with the refurbishment!

Got my MacBook Pro in 2 days after ordering! Everything was exactly as I expected, clean, no scratches and works as intended!

This seller is horrible ... First of all don't order from them because they are 3rd party and all the items are not good! The computers don't work and they don't reach out to until the time frame has passed so they can insist on not giving you a refund! I'm literally stuck with 2 of these machines which are nothing a pile of JUNK! Does not work, does not charge, does not even stay on. Absolutely trash item ... I don't know why AMAZON still has them selling items on this platform. They have no customer service and that has left a very distasteful experience for me! $746.64 literally stolen because they sell you items that are not good and keep your money!

Apple 15in MacBook Pro, Retina, Touch Bar, 2.9GHz Intel Core i7 Quad Core, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, Space Gray, MPTT2LL/A (Renewed) - I needed a new laptop for photo editing as the Ram on my Microsoft surface pro is not equipped enough for Lightroom/photoshop, everyone suggested a MacBook of some kind, but my bank account can't get on board with those steep prices of $1,500+ so when I found this refurbished one for $650 with the option for monthly payments, I couldn't pass it up! I have had it for about a week now and so far so good. It arrived faster than it was expected, the cosmetic damage to the laptop is okay, there is a large dent/gouge on one of the edges that is pretty significant. The rest appears mostly unscratched but that's because it appears to have a sticker across the entire front and back of the laptop to appear as though it is brand new. It looks fine, the only way I noticed was when I look at the bottom of the laptop I expected to find model #s so I could buy a compatible case for the laptop and there is nothing on the bottom of the laptop what so ever. When I saw that I looked at the edges and sure enough there is a sticker across the whole surface to cover any cosmetic damage. The A key on the keyboard sticks a bit from time to time, otherwise functionality, speed, and battery life have been good so far. The screen is REALLY REALLY sensitive to touch (changes color in the spot that anything brushes by it) so I worry the screen will break at some point in general transportation of the laptop. Even if I run my finger across it with no pressure, it reacts as if I'm pushing on the screen hard. I will update if anything changes! ***UPDATE: the battery only lasts for 2 hours of use unplugged, it dies if it’s not being used either. And at least once a week it gives an error message stating that it unexpectedly restarted due to an issue. Not thrilled with the issues but I need the device.

Item is amazing. It is refurbished but it was delivered in best conditions possible. I received the laptop in bubbles bag in a package. It came just as described. I'm happy with my purchase. Item regardless it is in a refurbished state, it came well packaged and in very good condition. I would recommend to purchase refurbished items without hesitations.

Detalles estéticos estoy consiente que no es un artículo nuevo pero tiene marcas notables de uso, pese a eso es una computadora muy buena no se puede actualizar a la versión mas reciente de macOS pero no lo necesita es muy fluida y capaz pantalla excelente muy buena calidad La barra de espacio fallo los primeros dias pero actualmente funciona sin problema, creo fue por falta de uso por tenerla almacenada mucho tiempo llego con 863 ciclos de carga, el primer encendido hizo mucho ruido los ventiladores, creí que necesitaría un mantenimiento pero han funcionado perfecto y son muy silenciosos

I ordered a 15" MacBook Pro, but the laptop arrived with a completely damaged battery. It wouldn’t hold any charge even after charging for almost two hours — it stayed at 1%. This was extremely disappointing, especially for such an expensive product. I had to return it immediately for a refund. It’s clear that the seller did not check the product’s condition before shipping. I strongly advise other buyers to be cautious before purchasing from this seller. The entire experience was frustrating and a waste of time. I am also sharing a video as proof of the issue.

Estaba muy feliz con este producto, funcionaba perfecto, llegó con un cargador no oficial, sin embargo no me había causado ningún problema, cumplido el año y uno o dos meses de la compra, simplemente ya no encendió, fui a un centro certificado por Apple y me comentaron que hubo un problema con la tarjeta lógica, se quemó un componente y puede haber varias razones, soy Ingeniero en Tecnologías de la información, tengo años de experiencia armando y arreglando computadoras, sé cómo cuidar un equipo, y ahora arreglarlo con poco más de un año de uso me cuesta lo mismo que comprar otro (alrededor de $10,000 pesos mexicanos) , reitero, estaba muy contento, funcionaba perfectamente hasta que tuve este problema

Working perfectly and shipped in very careful bubblewrap. Battery is charging with normal health! I absolutely love it!
