Nothing on them to say they are 40w or any w. In fact they are 4w or thereabout as it says so in the small print. The light configeration matches the picture for this item so I guess they are the bulbs I bought. Checked to see what these cost elsewhere after delivery and lol one could get double the number of bulbs for the same price at 1w higher. One could get even more for the price if one was willing to wait for them to arrive from China. Hence the 2 stars to reflect the poor value for money I feel these are but I bought them and so have kept them to use as nothing wrong with working of the product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small but powerful *by W***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 13 January 2019* These seem to be small, but they put out a huge amount of light. It is hard to tell the difference between this and a large 50w bulb that I also use. I have a large square grow light that is in the center, and then these provide light on the edges and are working great.
