"How they learn is as important as what they learn."
Our youngest learners are some of our most creative. Primary grades are the perfect environment for tinkering, inquiry, making, and anything hands-on. Author Alice Baggett does a great job of explaining that, "How they learn is as important as what they learn." She provides advice and lots of ideas and examples that will help teachers move forward with their own maker environments. There are lots of photos that show how truly excited kids get when they are being challenged in an age-appropriate manner. Get this book and get making!

Too bad so sad..
Just got it in - No new ideas, everything here has been available else where or is common sense and basically it's take art and call it something else. Even as a new teacher there isn't anything I can glean. Really disappointed. I appreciate the effort but definitely not worth the cost.
