Great leather shoulder holster for the price!
Looks like I'm the first one to review this Aker shoulder holster. I've included lots of photos so potential buyers can get a really good look at it. Mine is black leather for the Glock 17 or 19, and recently-manufactured as its label is dated August 2016. In my photos, I'm using my Glock 19 with G19 mags, but it works equally well with my Glock 17 and corresponding mags. The design of this holster allows use of either pistol/mags with no fitment problems. I'm giving it a 5-star rating because in its price range of $100-150, the quality and comfort is at least as good if not better than its competitors. The leather quality of the holster and mag pouch is very nice, and in my opinion, better than Galco. The Aker leather is thin, light, yet more sturdy and better-formed than Galco. A problem I have with Galco is that the holster leather on just about all of their products is too soft and does not have that thin, light, hard-shell leather that's the hallmark of a properly-made holster (such as Milt Sparks, Ritchie, and Alessi - all of which I have a good amount of experience with). One negative about the Aker holster is that its interior is a little bit rougher than I'd like, but this will smooth out in time and honestly, in this price range, does not bother me at all. The initial fit of the holster was very good and didn't require much break-in, but I did so anyway. I wrapped my Glock in a Ziplock bag and worked it into the holster and snapped the thumb break. I left it overnight and in the morning, my bare pistol inserted and released more to my liking. By the way, if you find that the thumb break is a bit difficult to snap initially, just twist the leather back and forth a few times and it'll loosen up just enough. Now to discuss the shoulder harness. I could be wrong, but the harness looks to me to be bonded leather with a grain pattern pressed into the exterior. Bonded leather is frequently used in less-expensive leather furniture, but is certainly adequate quality and strong enough for use in this shoulder holster at this price point. The harness is soft and flexible, which contributes significantly to comfort, and I have no complaint. Also of note is the interface of the harness and the rear of the holster, which facilitates a slightly butt-down diagonal carry (adjustable). I very much prefer this design for concealment and is one of the reasons I decided to give this Aker model a try.For daily, all-day wear of a shoulder holster, you should probably invest in a Ritchie or Alessi because the quality and comfort is at the top of the market, but you'll certainly pay for it and wait several weeks. (If Milt Sparks made a shoulder holster, I'd buy one in a heartbeat, but they don't, unfortunately.) If you want a more affordable option with fast delivery, and if you're only going to wear the shoulder holster occasionally or not all day long, I can wholeheartedly recommend this Aker model. As of right now, I'd still choose the Aker over anything else in its price range, including anything by Galco. This is the first Aker holster I've ever had in my hands, and I'm very satisfied with it.

nice holster
this holster fits Glock 20 like a glove, the double stack mags are nice and snug in pouches comfortable and good concealment but my six inch barrel does extend well beyond holster, I like single snap as it is fast on the draw and secure when carry, need to purchase belt loop if you need it but I don't use one because it tugs a lot

Good Product. Terrible Customer Service Attitude!
I received my Aker shoulder holster for the Glock 21 today and was pleased with the product..PRO: The holster is well designed, sewn well and the pouch to hold two extra magazines is also well constructed. The magazine holder has two snaps on each strap for long or short magazine applications and there are two tension screws to secure the mags in addition to the snap straps. The holster thumb break retention strap is the perfect length and well designed. The thumb break works well. The holster extends to the forward end of a Glock 21.CON: The main load bearing swivels are plastic. The G21 is a big, heavy pistol with one loaded mag. Add to that, two extra mags, and 40 on board rounds, the load is substantial. I would have gladly paid more to substitute metal hanging hardware. The center plate to join the straps is a similar plastic material. It does not inspire confidence! I would have preferred leather and would have paid more to get it.A single piece of paper is included in the plastic bag the holster is shipped in. It says in part: QUOTE"All AKER products are sold "AS IS" and "WITH ALL FAULTS": The entire risk as to the quality and performance is with the buyer. Should any AKER product prove defective following its purchase, the buyer, not the manufacturer, distributor, or retailer assumes the entire risk of of all necessary servicing or repair. The implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and all other warranties expressed or implied are excluded from the transaction and shall not apply to the product sold," CLOSE QUOTE.Summed up, this product is pretty good but their customer service attitude is just terrible. I will not do business with them again nor will I recommend this product!EDIT 4-26-16Since writing this evaluation, I visited their website and found a more customer oriented and reasonable warranty statement. The problem is that the document that ships with the product, states "all other warranties expressed or implied are excluded from the transaction and shall not apply to the product sold." Aker gives a warranty on their site, then CANCELS it with the document shipped in the product package!A comment suggested that I post a copy of the Aker document on Amazon. I do not have the equipment or expertise to do that. I WILL keep their document on hand.

Very good holster for multiple reasons.
the leather is very tough and very comfortable. The adjustment options are endless, even if you’re a bigger guy. As someone who is 6’3” and pushing 300 pounds, I was nervous this wouldn’t be able to wrap around me. I was pleased to learn it wouldn’t be an issue. You can adjust the fit to a very large size. You can even adjust the angle the mag holders and gun are at. I know this may seem obvious but with some holsters that’s very hard to do. The only problem I have is the adjustable screws that are used to change between lengths may come loose. It’s not a big deal to me however because if you just throw some red loctite on the threads in the preferred configuration, they would survive nice and tight through WWIII. Overall I am very happy with this holster. The price is low and the quality is high. Very much recommend. Amazing job to anyone who was involved making it.

Amazing quality exceeds the cost
I’ve owned quite a few shoulder holsters. This one has great quality straps, the holster itself is sharp and positively secures the firearm. The molding of the holster fits so well that it’s the first time I didn’t have to condition it to fit the firearm and snap it in; usually I have to twist the strap in order to secure the clasp. I’m going to buy more for my other firearms. It is worth the money.
