OtterBox DEFENDER SERIES Galaxy S8 Case & Holster - Vinyasa - Renewed

This item replaces a 2.5 year-old Otter Box of the same design whose side "tabs" which secure the phone to the holster were breaking. The mauve and beige contrasting colors are far superior to the previous back case, as it can be seen against a dark background. The previous model's holster is still fully usable with it (holster included is black regardless color of phone case ordered). To ensure the side tabs don't break, I am now lifting the holster's clip before sliding the phone in, then releasing it to grab the tab, so that the side force of the clip doesn't break the tab over time. I highly recommend this unit because the phone can be inserted either way into the holster, which allows the screen to be fully protected with its screen facing inward, if desired.

I had to get a new phone as my Galaxy 4 was giving up the ghost. I had the same OtterBox Defender on it for years. It saved my phone more times than I can count as I am always !! dropping my phone. So, that is why I got this new Defender for my new phone. Between the OtterBox and hard screen protector my phone is safe. I've dropped my phone on concrete and asphalt so much & nothing has ever broken. I know some people like the slimmer cases but I find them very slippery. I like this case as it's not slippery and the material it's made out of helps me to hold on to my phone better. I highly recommend this if you are someone who drops their phone a lot.

Durability.

Its padded underneath in the back, seems rugged, of course I dropped my phone after I put it on :) but it didnt hurt it at all. It does take a little effort to get it on but it's well worth it to know the phones protected. Feels nice in my hand and of course I love the color would definately reccomend it. Just fogured out i can flip the phone with the screen facing outward. Completely in love with this case.

Love this case, but it did not actually come with a belt clip outer case, as described in the description. Thankfully I had my old one saved from the former Defender I had & broke, otherwise would have sent back!

I already had one of these and I loved it. It saved my phone many times when I dropped it. The price was right.

The only thing I didn't like is the face that Otterbox has deleted the front shield, leaving the phone's glass screen exposed. Other than that, it's a darn good protective case.
