Accidentally came across these switches during some upgrades to my old Hot Rod. Wanted LED but most are way too bright. These have and opaque ring that is a neutral color and is backlit with a colored LED so are just right. The guilty is very high and they look great for my application. They are also very versatile since they can be wired as normally open or normally closed and the LED is on its own circuit so can be wired separately. This worked well for two controllers I installed that need to activate an LED separately from the switch to function the way I wanted. Wring them up is also simple since they come with a removable pigtail so no screws or soldering at the switch to deal with and will be simple to replace if one happens to fail. Last but not least these come in many diameters, body colors and LED colors. Available in latching style and momentary style. I used both on my project. I will definitely be using these on future projects as well.

OK - Back story - I wanted CHEAP switches, but I wanted them TODAY. These were the only ones available by "get it today", so I ordered these. Hear me out - I ordered (2) green, (2) red, (2) yellow, (1) white, (2) blue. All of them qualified for "get it today". Later that day, I received (1) switch. The next day a few more were delivered. The following day the rest were delivered. All correct, just didn't get them when promised. To add to that, I was BAFFLED by $10 a switch. I was dumbfounded by the price, BUT, I wanted them TODAY. Anyway, I got the switches, and installed them, and COULD NOT be happier. The switches are sturdy and have a firm response. The lights are bright enough to be useful, but not blinding at night. The pigtails are sturdy, and the wiring has nice silicone insulation. What the description DOESN'T tell you is, there are multiple ways to wire these. First off, you can wire them as Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed(NC). The lights can be configured to be always on, always off, only on when pressing, or always on except when pressed. Very nice! (The instructions are not 100% clear on this, but once you figure out what they're attempting to say it all makes sense.) So even though I was fairly upset about the 1)delay in shipping, and 2)the price - in the end I 110% have to say these ARE worth every penny!

Very clean switch once installed. I put one in my 72’ c10 as a horn button. Wiring was a little confusing but once I figured it out it was easy. For those wondering the wiring is this for a normally open switch GREEN to (+) battery BLUE to (+) of device (in my case a horn) RED to12v switched - this is for the LED on the button only BLACK to ground - ground for the LED only YELLOW not used

Works great as advertised! Used it to make my own built into garage door opener for my car and works perfectly. Will definitely use this brand for other projects. Only downside is that if you are using it for a garage door opener you have to wire it in a way that isn’t on the basic instruction menu so you have to know what you’re doing or you risk shorting out the remote (it took me 5 tries lol) but other than that it works beautifully!! (Note: please make sure that you use the correct gauge of wire so you don’t risk any electrical issues and the wiring picture provided was using a 3rd party remote also purchased on Amazon)

Other reviewers are 100% correct, the instructions are pretty bad. But once you get it figured out, you will be very happy with this momentary switch. It has a great positive feel to it and the body is nicely machined aluminum. The lead off of the back is nice and I like that you can disconnect the wiring from the switch. This particular switch was perfect for my application because I wanted to avoid any accidental use of the switch. Here is the use case that I was working with. I needed a momentary switch to key the microphone for a communication radio. The leads from the radio head were two wires that when connected, keyed the mic. One wire, the black wire, had 5v of power. The other, a gray wire, had no power (of course...simple switch...connect the two wires together and it completes the circuit). To be completely clear, I wanted the LED to be lit all the time and I wanted the push of the switch button to compete the circuit, not interrupt an already powered circuit. Here is the wiring scheme that I used for powering the LED light (this is completely separate from the switch circuit): -Red wire on switch to a 12v keyed power supply. -Black wire to chassis ground. The wiring scheme for switching: -Blue wire on the switch to the black wire from the radio head with 5v of power. -Green wire on switch to gray wire to radio head which completes the circuit. *The yellow wire is not used for this configuration! I hope this helps you out!

Nothing i could find fault with. The “wiring’ diagram” that came with it that defines the color codes for the button portion and the LED is a little peculiar but it serves the purpose and is clear to understand unlike some “Chinglish” provided docs. Overall, its a quality product.

Have used these a couple times. Am impressed with quality and that they come with pigtail connector to allow for a clean and professional install.

This switch is a little smaller than I expected but feel like a good quality switch when pressed. Simple wiring detailed instructions for different configurations. I like it!!
