I ordered these because I have been having swollen ankles and feet lately. They arrived two days after I placed my order. I put on a pair and they seemed very tight at first since I was not used to wearing support/compression stockings. I have now worn them several days in a row and I have had no more swollen ankles or feet. I wear European size 37-38 shoes so the size of the foot is a bit large, but otherwise a good fit.I wash them by hand in (luke) warm water with a little bit of soap, then lay them flat on a towel to dry. The next morning they are dry and ready for use again.

I bought these socks as I work on my feet and as I age (49) I am seeing the beginnings of varicose veins! This prompted me to look after my legs and get something to support them. The socks came in separate packages in one box. I chose 2 colours as I don't always wear black socks so the beige was a good alternative. I wear them under trousers so nobody knows that I am wearing compressions socks but you can feel the support of them which is reassuring. Getting so many in a pack was good - one pair a day with an extra and when the cost is broken down they are good value for money compared to other compression socks which are essentially the same but sell less pairs for more money. Overall they are good comparable compression socks. I will have to wait and see what effect they may have long term but in the short term they are comfortable, good value and although you can feel the compression it is not a horrible tight squeeze but a nice support. getting them on and off was not too difficult either. Obviously, being compression socks they are going to be a little harder to get on as you want that hold but its not as bad as some socks where you can hardly get your foot and leg either in or off! I think it helps that the material is quite thick - but not so thick that you are going to have to change shoes! I got the S/M. I am a size 6 foot (wide) and they fit my calves but I couldn't comment on the fit for either very slim or much wider calves.

I am a nurse and on my feet all day and also suffer from plantar fasciitis. I used to get swollen ankles a lot so tried these compression socks, they have been great!! No swollen ankles and they fit and stay up! Inline other socks!

These were excellent socks, very comfortable, far better than the hospital ones. I have just had a hip replacement and have to wear them for 6 weeks, one of the best points about them is you can put them on on your own with the use of sock aid, I live in my own and wad worried about this but can manage them really well

This pack of socks is good value (4 white, 4 black), and the compression is noticeable but comfortable to manage with for a number of hours. The socks have been washed according to the instructions and have come out of the machine looking like new - even after a mishap involving a white pair and some body lotion.I'm approximately 160cm in height meaning the socks are a little too long for my calf; this is no problem as the top can be folded over with no discomfort. The length of the sock is ideal for taller people.I found the socks have helped with reducing the swelling in my ankles and increasing the circulation to my knee area to help with some tiny thread veins that have started to appear.All in all, a very good purchase. Recommended.

Got these for my mother who for a long time had problems with leg circulation and swollen ankles who despite being measured by doctors for compression tights when she wore them they always felt tight with these they do a perfect job and give her great relief and support with a lot of comfort and no cutting into the legs at the top of the socks where the measured ones did leaving a bad red ring mark around her leg absoloutly perfect would buy these again for her if needed and would recommend them to anybody in a similar circumstance

Bought these for my husband who has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure. His ankles were beginning to swell and become uncomfortable. He is active for his age (late 70's) as he likes taking a walk of several miles every day, so lack of exercise was not the problem. At my insistence he has been wearing these socks every day for several weeks and his ankles are not swelling up at all. He has decided after some initial resistance to the idea of them that he will continue to wear them. He agrees that they are not too constrictive and are comfortable to wear once on, although they do leave a mark on his leg caused by the top of the socks.
