I will never be without this supplement again! I’ve been taking it for about 3 weeks. I purchased because I heard it was a super antioxidant and could have anti-aging benefits. It has already delivered so much more! After the first dose, within 30 minutes to an hour I felt an immediate improvement in pain and inflammation in my joints. I’m currently 300 lbs and have been trying to walk 2 miles a few times a week to lose weight. It’s been really hard because after I walk my knees and ankles hurt so bad. It’s been a struggle. I had only been able to manage walking once or twice a week. And I’d be in so much pain afterwards, I’d be limping around for at least 48 hours after. Since taking this my joint pain has reduced by about 80% and my recovery time after walking has reduced to 12-24 hours. I’ve been able to consistently walk 3 times a week. Also, another bonus that I wasn’t expecting is that immediately after the first dose my appetite disappeared. I take these 2 times a day and I’m almost never hungry! For me it works better than Ozempic (I tried Ozempic for 6 months and sadly I was one of the people it didn’t do anything for). I’ve been able to easily stick to my intermittent fasting of one meal a day without struggling like I did before. And the weight loss has picked up significantly since I started these. I feel like my appetite is suppressed but my metabolism is running faster, like my body is finally using all this stored energy (my body fat) more efficiently. I will never be without this supplement again!!! Update 9/12/2025: It’s now been about 6 months since taking this supplement. After doing some research about therapeutic dosage amounts, I decided to increase how many I take based on my weight and to get more of the weight loss benefits. For the last month and half I’ve been taking 3 pills 3 times a day. I’ve experienced an increase in sustained energy throughout the day. My joints and limbs feel nimble and mobile like they did in my twenties. I’ve seen an increase in weight loss. I’ve lost 15 pounds in the last month and a half even though I have not been as consistent with my diet and exercise. It’s like my metabolism has reverted back to my twenties and I can eat whatever I want… which I’m not going to keep doing. I will be getting back on track. But my body just feels different in a good way. Also my coworkers have been recently asking me if I’m doing something different or if I’m in love because they say I am glowing and reverse aging every day! I’ve literally gotten multiple people asking me this within the last 2 weeks. Which is crazy since I’d actually fallen off my diet and exercise and am still as single as can be! So it must be this. Increasing the supplement is the only change I made.

Its a great supplement at a great price and id definitely recommend if on a budget, it's one of the better brands I've found

I have taken S.O.D. for decades because of its antioxidant properties, particularly in reference to the skin. In general, I find it difficult to evaluate the effectiveness of any supplements because the effects are often internal and not readily noticeable. However, people usually underestimate my age by at least a decade. Maybe that's because of the S.O.D. As far as this particular formulation is concerned, I have the same evaluative difficulty. I have taken various formulations over the years and have not been able to see a difference in effect between them. They have all done the job as far as I can tell. So, I suppose this formulation works as well as any.

My doctor recommended this and other supplements to treat a chronic condition I have had for well over seven years. Haven't used the product long enough to tell if it is making a difference. What I do like about this brand of SOD is that it is coated for extra absorption in the intestines. The negative thing is that I had to order from two different Amazon suppliers as I didn't find one supplier that had seven bottles in stock.

I dislike the fact that apparently this product is no longer being manufactured. Why, KAL, why? The combination of Superoxide Dismutase and Catalase is SUCH a winner! Very disappointed that I can't get any more of this stuff. Made my eyelashes and eyebrows grow in thicker and darker, and I'm pushing 60.

This supplement plus 10mg daily of Astaxanthin have made a HUGE difference in how my skin handles the sun. I no longer get sunburns after being out in mildly hot weather for 20 minutes. The sunburn may still eventually happen but it is not as intense and takes longer to kick in.

I've been taking this brand of SOD for years. I use it to help with detoxification of the liver. I take it with glutathione. I have tried other brands and I prefer KAL.
