This would have benefited from a little more information on how to use it. The right recipe makes a big difference and I can easily see people getting frustrated. It took me three batches before I was satisfied with the results, but it wasn’t the rolling pin as much as the lack of direction. Find a good rollout cookie recipe that does not include a leavening agent. If the cookies puff up or spread, you’ll lose the embossing. Make sure the dough is rolled uniformly and the correct thickness before you emboss. Use a firm, uniform pressure when transferring the image and don’t let the cookies get too brown in the oven

Totally disappointed. Did not leave a pattern behind at all. The grooves are not deep enough. Only giving one star but would give zero if it was an option. Customer service did contact me and give me a refund without having the item to be returned. Easy to work with, but wish the product was as described

Embossing is not deep enough to leave an imprint on the dough. Great disappointment, for me and my granddaughter.

This is a lovely rolling pin! One tip for users - if you are using a soft or thin dough, the design will flatten right out in the oven.

This image does show up on gingerbread cut outs. Wish the pin were longer.

This rolling pin is terrible. I've tried it with a variety of recipes. Pattern does NOT come thru on baked cookies.. save your money DONT ORDER I would give no stars if I could
