Stormy Kromer Button Vest - Charcoal, Large

Love these vests. If you are thinking about it just do it. I am a hunter, outdoorsman and a bit old school. I am 6’ and 210 lbs pretty much an athletic build - the large is perfect for me. Not a complete tailor fit but just right with a nice flannel or chamois shirt underneath. If you have zero belly than there maybe a bit of room around the waist. I bought the first one, wore it a couple days and order 2 more. I work in an office and they are a nice upgrade to business casual. Warm for my time in Wisconsin outdoors.

I bought the Stormy Kromer vest after owning one of the firm's original ear-flap caps (colors match). Although the SK vest is unlined (unlike the more expensive Filson version), I don't care, since I'm always wearing a shirt underneath. Have worn vest in 50-degree temps and under a wool coat in below-freezing conditions. This would be a versatile piece of clothing in fall, winter and spring as temperatures vary. Side pockets are good and deep for tucking your hands inside. I very much like the dual right-side breast pockets; I can wear my pocket watch in the smaller pocket and ran the chain & t-bar through a buttonhole. Got compliments when I wore the vest and watch to a Toastmasters meeting! That said, this is probably too warm and a bit too bulky to be an indoor clothing article; save for when you need an extra bit of warmth outdoors. I understand now why I see a lot of older guys wearing vests when I travel to Europe; sometimes you don't want the extra bulk of a jacket or coat.

I ordered a different brand, more expensive, and didn't like the fit or weight so exchanged it for this one. What a difference, fit is perfect just the right amount of room and excellence tailoring, I love this vest, Im 6' and weigh 220 and ordered an extra large. Hope this helps

I am often between a L and a M. 5'8" and 175 lbs. I am usually in decent shape. 42" chest. The M fit well, enough room in the chest and plenty of room in the middle. The arm holes were big enough too. There isn't enough room to wear heavy clothes underneath, but that is the fit that I wanted.

Bought his a few months ago, very high quality,......but it has advertising on the back top at the neck, and can not be removed. I do not like advertising on garment. it says "Stormy Kromer 1907" ..... My bad choice and could have been avoided if it was mentioned in description.

This is a very nice vest. It’s warm, but not too hot. I have worn it twice and it adds a bit of class to pants or jeans. I have received many compliments on the look and feel. Might by another in a different color.

This is an AWESOME vest. Fit as expected and absolutely top shelf quality. Very comfortable to wear everyday. I wear a suit everyday and during the winter, this not only keeps me very warm, but looks great too. Many, many compliments on this vest. Should last a lifetime.

Awesome vest, love it. Originally hesitant when comparing to filson, but definitely glad I went with this one. I get compliments every day on this vest.
