Columbia Men's Alpine Stunner Jacket

i bought this as a gift for my friend going for a ski trip, it came alot bigger than needed

I haven't really put it to the test, but we've had some chilly nights and I have no complaints. Skiing all day in the snow will be the real test.

I got the package in the mail and was shocked to feel how small and light it was. I thought there had been a mistake and I had only bought a shell. I opened the jacket and put it on. Its amazingly warm, especially with how light it is. I haven't had the chance to use it in the snow/cold but by just trying it on, I'm pretty sure that it'll hold up through both.

Jacket is great other than the 3 inch rip down the seam. Should have returned and bought from a store where I can inspect the item first.

Super steal for a great winter coat for my husband for Christmas. Totally beats paying $150+ searching Scheels or Dick Sporting goods. These new Columbia coats have a lot of neat, deep, accessible pockets on the inside too. Perfect for phones and such. True to size. Got a large for my hubby who is 5'9 170lbs.

I love it. It is warm and very comfortable. It is very well designed with plenty of strategically placed pockets. I got the black version because it is more visible in the snow and reflects less light which makes it a bit warmer. I can’t wait to go skiing

The Omni lining is very warm. You can't remove the liner like some of the more expensive Columbia jackets, but there are vents you can unzip under your armpits. That should be all I need. I got the boulder plaid color and like it very much.

Nice jacket for everyday use or winter sports. Feels very warm but not bulky. Have two pockets on the chest and one mesh pocket inside for skiing mask. Only thing it lacks - is a pocket for ski pass in the sleeve.

Classic Columbia style and quality. Great detailing, manufacturing and premium feel. Being white it will attract the daily grime and marks that we all encounter (aside from those unfortunates sealed in a vacuum), but a visit to the washing machine soon sorts that out and the jacket is back to brilliance and ready to wear again.
