I like the colors. These are as expected.

Perhaps flat, like art, is in the eye of the beholder.
The media could not be loaded. Bought based on a review that stated that these were flat on the bottom -- they are most certainly not. Perhaps flat, like art, is in the eye of the beholder. The vinyl covering does do what it is supposed to do and that is to protect your floors from getting marked up. The vinyl coatings are also a great color coded system for the KB weights. I will say on these two aspects alone, Ader has done a nice job. But the vinyl coating also appears intended to cover up defects in the general shape of the KB. I know I did not spend top money on a top product. I shot to pay for "very good for a home gym" from a respectable brand. However, the 15lb KB easily tips over and the un-coated iron handle will definitely hit your floor eventually. Heck, the 15lb KB could relatively easily be knocked off a KB stand if dinked by another KB you happen to be loading on to that very stand. Watch your feet and return your KBs carefully! Additionally, because the 15lb KB is so unstable, you are restricted to KB exercises that are swing or hoist only, ie nothing that is floor-based. I also ordered the Ader vinyl coated 25lb and 35lb KBs. These are also not flat on the bottom; however, they are "flat enough" to allow floor-based KB exercises. In other words, they are easier to stabilize during your workout due to the greater (but slightly bumpy) surface area on their bottoms. I expect some fitness guru or marketing exec will probably log in and state that the lack of stability is intended as part of my training. I'm recovering and building up from a shoulder surgery and a lack of stability is not what I am interested in. Nor should it be expected from quality KBs.Check out the video I posted to this review. I was intending to show how unstable the 15lb KB was with respect to the other two heavier KBs. With that amount of wobble in the 15lb KB, you would risk falling flat on your face if you attempted to do a push up off of it. When my shoulder is stronger, I might attempt that move with the heavier KBs.I also had a higher expectation of Ader's attempt to finish the handles. Each of the KBs had burs and one had a pronounced seam. This will require work by me to file down and repaint the handles. You know, if I buy a burger from Wendy's, I do not expect to have to finish frying it. I suppose in the amount of time that I took to put together this review, I could have reasonably filed most of the problem areas down. But it is the principle of it all. Lastly, I will need to track down and buy some good enamel paint to cover up the filed areas.Since I likely can't return these without losing a lot of cash due to shipping, I'll probably have to keep them and use them for exercises that I can do with them. I will attempt to contact the seller and at least see if I can exchange the 15lb KB, but ideally, I'll return the whole set. I will update this review with my experience to these ends.In conclusion: For my needs, I regret this purchase. I should have gone with the pricier brands that I read up on that are not vinyl coated and restricted my workouts to over a gym mat (so that my floors would be protected). Perhaps these KBs are adequate for others. They are just not for me at this point (with the amount of instability I have in my shoulder).

Good value product
I had to do some rehab work on my shoulders and back, this was the recommended weight that I start with. After a fair amount of searching about what make of kettlebell to get, I settled on the Ader as a good cost/value ratio. I have somewhat big hands, so the broad handles on this were a definite plus and the vinyl coating made for worry free storage on my tile flooring.Delivery was different than expected, it came in a USPO priority mail box, and I had ordered this one and a 20lb one for my rehab work. The weights were sufficiently protected with insulated wrap, but I'm sure my postal carrier was cussing me out under her breath as she wrestled the parcel into community mailbox.Once my rehab was done, I started to look into more kettlebell based fitness programs and have to say that I have been able to stay with it ever since, the routines and the weights are very simple and effective, totally revamping my home gym and freeing up a significant amount of floorspace in the process.

Great experience so far but...
Ader makes quality kettlebells for the money! I own several of these in various weights/sizes and they are all evenly balanced and well-constructed. I do however, notice the size of the handle appears to be broadened with regard to the increased weight of each bell. As a woman, I find the 45lb bell to be significantly thicker in the handle than the 40lb and it's tougher for my small hands to grip. I noticed a slight increase when comparing the 35lb to the 40lb as well. Perhaps this is only true for the vinyl coated but at this rate, I'm not sure I could grip the 50lb and will have to consider that as my abilities continue to increase!

Not optimal.
Second Kettlebell purchased in a month. This one, from a different manufacturer is also damaged. I’m not going to do another return, this one sits semi-flat & the gash on the handle.....I can live with.

I love it~!
This kettlebell is so perfect. I read many many product reviews, and the Ader always came out a winner. It was a bit more money, but I decided to spring for it and I'm so glad I did! The bell itself has a coat of latex, which protects any surface you set it on.It has a very smooth iron handle, which is good because you're sometimes moving it fairly rapidly and if it has snags or roughness, your hands would suffer. It just seems like a incredibly well made product. And, ladies, it's just so dang CUTE~! I really love it!!!
