I used it for coolant leakage tracking. Great light. If you don't think the glasses do anything, then review the photos. It amplifies what's being lit. Glasses are the green shaded.

This light is so good it revealed areas that we thought we had cleaned properly but were clearly not cleaned properly. I have gone through a number of black lights to find pet stains, this light is by far, the best light I have ever had. No kidding.

Overall, it is great value, the *only* thing keeping this from a 5-Star review is the battery-life. It seems you can get roughly 30 minutes TOPS out of use of this before it dims too low to visibly see. If they offered a power-plug option with the battery option, this might be a good for most cases you need this. (Not like a traditional flash light, where its usually utilized while power is out)This did allow me to pinpoint and spot-treat in a new house where the previous pets left their smells behind.Couple of tips while using:Make sure it is as dark as possible in the area you are scanning, and ideally not be colorblind.

Bought this to see where I needed to clean carpet in our new house and I got way more than I bargained for. I expected to find a large urine stain where my cat kept marking, but I discovered every carpet in the house we bought is stained almost everywhere with dog pee stains from the previous owners. I was so grossed out! We have decided to pull every carpet out and replace them thanks to this. I'm quite happy with the results of this UV light even if I'm not happy to replace all the carpets. Better than walking on the filth that is these carpets for the next 5-10 years!

Got this to find any accidents I suspected my pets had in the house and it worked great. I also was able to use this to show my 12 year old son how nasty the area around his toilet really was. Although it wasn't visible to the naked eye, this light helped him see that he needed to aim much better. I can happily say that it worked and I am no longer disgusted while helping him clean his bathroom.

I strongly recommend this awesome black light flashlight. I really love the fact that it comes with the glasses as well. They allowed me to see the flashlight a lot better. I have used it to identify counterfeit currency. Also to identify any pet stains in carpet. I love have this when I travel and stay in hotels. It works perfectly for identifying any unwanted items in the beds. Anyways I strongly recommend this great product to anyone interested in purchasing a great black light flashlight .

I bought this light because we adopted a cat 2 mos prior and I kept smelling cat urine coming up from my basement. I needed to investigate whether or not it was just the litter box smell. So, I went on the hunt. Turned off the lights and what do you know?!? Found several spots where the cat had ‘marked’. Marks showed up as yellow but you can only see them with the glasses on. I cleaned the spots and no more smell! Also used them to check out my cleaning job in the bathroom. Be warned...only use it if you’re ready to scrub!

My carpet is variegated with brown grey and tan colors. After reading reviews on so many urine detector lights I bought this one because it seemed to work, even on crime and white carpet. It came with special glasses but they didn’t work at all. While I was able to finally find the spots that my chihuahua was leaving in my dining room it took a lot of patience. I had to make sure the room was pitch black and I had to get down really LOW to the carpet, like 6” away. I was hopeful that this item would work better than others that I have tried but it wasn’t much different. Yes it does show urine spots but YOU have to really get close, know the area and hope you find them all. I guess you get what you pay for right?
